Due to the unfortunate misspelling of Resident Evil: Revelations on North American retail copies of Resident Evil: Revelations, Capcom has revealed that it will be sending out replacement covers free of change to those that have managed to snag one of the misspelt sleeves. Capcom has also announced that all future copies of Resident Evil: Revelations will have the correct spelling on the sleeves.
As you may well have heard by now, the title of Revelations is indeed misspelled on the spine of the game box (as “Revelaitons”). Unfortunately, the initial North American shipment of the game will reflect this error, but we just got confirmation that subsequent shipments of the title are being repackaged to have the correct spelling. Meanwhile, customers who have received the misspelled version can contact our Customer Service line at 650-350-6700 or by email at accounts@capcom.com and we’ll send you a new insert for your case. So yay!
last againz
Pff, I’d prefer the misspelled one.
Ha, me too
Yeah it would probably be worth a ton someday haha
Same, misprints are worth way more.
I think capcom might have done the misspelling on purposed. Due to it being misspelled it might sell very well because its now a collector item.
can i order one now so i have it for when it comes out?
Misspelt ones are traditionally worth more in later years if history can teach us anything.
This is not important, what matters is the game quality
Crisis averted?
lol,maybe a kid from capcom wrote it,revelaitons,lol
Professor Revelaiton?
I thought the same thing!!!
Mih mespelt beTteer wurth mere mooneey un ltter live
Kinda cool that they’re gonna send out replacement inserts. I’m sure that’s gonna set them back a few $$. I’m sure you can just slide the fixed cover over the mispelled one and keep it. You never know, it could be a collector’s item. Doubt it, but you know.
I just wanna say I’m sorta glad we are back to the old avatars because peterus is back to having a bright red and green picture. Making him much easier to avoid.
Dont feed the trolls kids.
Dude, your making a whole comment just to make other people avoid another person’s comment(s), and you call him the troll. (Peteriuss, I’m not defending you.)
Yup.
i don’t see why so many people dislikes peteriuss. he is a nice guy, sure he’s a little over protective when is about Nintendo, but why that’s a bad thing? n_n
(not looking for trouble)
Thanks boyf
These will be worth SO much
Only an idiot would want to buy one…how many can I put you down for?
Idiot? Why? It’s a cool thing to have.
Wow. When you read these, you know that someone totally got fired at Capcom for this. fail spelling is fail.
I want a wrong one as collectable!!!
Who would really get rid of their mispelled version?
Who wants to replace the spell error one?
I would prefer a Mis-spelt one so i could see Capcom’s EPIC fails :P
people still care about this. it’s no big deal.

Kind of funny that an article about a spelling error has a typo. “Free of change” should be “free of charge”
HAHAHAHA “misspelt”… Way to go Sickr, you’re truly a master of irony.

I’d love to have a misspelled one, mine looks different though. The spine on mine has more of a logo rather than plain text. Was a bit disappointed we didn’t get the misspelled ones here :P
is that your lion-dog in that picture? just wondering

I wonder who lost their job… Lol
If Capcom did this on purpose it was genius because it makes collectors such as my self desire the game just because of the miss print and the possibility of it being valued more down the road. The only issue is how many misprints were there? If there were thousands and thousands that will drive the price down.
