Grand Theft Auto publisher Take Two has hinted to investors that Grand Theft Auto V should be coming between April 2012 – March 2013. The most likely scenario is that Grand Theft Auto V will be on store shelves during the Christmas period. Take Two and Rockstar Games have yet to announce which platforms the game is coming to, but a Wii U version seems possible given Rockstar Games past history.

Ironic that a nintendo fan would whine about GTA being the same, when many people feel Mario is just as guilty of the same. (Even though its not.) I find that people who feel that never actually completed the whole game/series.

Uhm, it’s actually NOT likely given their past history… They’ve barely made a handful of games for Nintendo platforms, most of them on GameBoy color.
You are forgetting Bully for Wii, Rockstar Table Tennis for Wii, Grand Theft Auto: China Town Wars for Nintendo DS amongst others.
None of those are indicative of a console-level GTA release, though.
With the exception of Chinatown wars, those are not good examples.. Bully was a PS2 game, no problem to run on the Wii, and Table Tennis is an awful port.
GTA hasn’t seen Nintendo since GBA before the DS one. I hope GTA 5 will be on Wii U, but I’m not holding my breath.
You seem to forget about Manhunt 2 aswell on the Wii which had exclusive weapons with you could NOT get on any other game platform!
And all these game sold horribly, leaving little reason for them to bring a big title like GTA 5 too Wii U.

If Rockstar truly had supported Nintendo in the past, they would have gone more than just a port, a minigame, a side story, and a dumbed-down game based on violence. Hell, a numbered GTA would have hit a Nintendo console. Now, I’m not saying GTAV appearing on the Wii U isn’t a possibility, but claiming that a major Rockstar title will hit the Wii U based on these titles alone is not sufficient and only makes you look a tad desperate. Don’t do this to yourself.
I’m just going to say I am glad that GTA V will appear on the Wii U. It cannot be confirmed yet because only information that Nintendo want out will come out. The word hope is not in my vocabulary.
Rockstar’s past history of what? They’ve released two handheld GTA games, that’s it. It *should* be on Wii U because it’ll finally be a capable system, but nothing about Rockstar’s publishing history suggests it.

never played any of this games even if i have a well packed in my storage room (xbox360), not even in my pc.. I am not going to die for this.. The reason I never played this games is the role you have and the luck of modding, Mostly to kill your time games..

If it releases for the Wii U, I might get it…otherwise I wouldn’t even consider it.
And hope out on the WiiU and than the same thimgs as CW DS (a screwdriver or make contact) for a car started. On the controller and with the camera look around and talking with your friends for online gaming with the controller! Who knows?
So, the WiiU is very powerful for this games to play it on. And everything is in photorealistic now with HD.

Look at the dates for Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire and the upcoming Max Payne 3 – all Spring releases. Rockstar have had huge success with their games coming out in that period of the year so will do it again. I’d put money on GTA V (which I personally could not give a shot about as it looks as plain as a Bulgarian pin-up) being released at the end of the April 2012 – March 2013 dates they teased about.
