Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has posted its readers most wanted games for this year. You’ll notice that there are only two Nintendo related games in the top ten which are Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Online and Monster Hunter 4. Dragon Quest X, which was previously number one, has been overtaken by Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma which is coming out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

If you’re talking about the trailer of Dragon’s Dogma, you’re correct, is from Capcom. Many say that it will be the spiritual succesor of Demon’s Souls/Dark Souls so, if it will be as hard as either of these two, it will sell, you like it or not because they’re a type of game that’s selling nowadays

Actually, I would say I don’t like it because it is a slow hack and slash wanna be puzzle game that people compare to Zelda and Ninja Gaiden series. Its silly how all the games on this list which are for PS3 are likely to be on XBox 360, as in Dragons Dogma as mentioned in the story above, but then why not mention that on the list?! Anyway im glad Wii has at least 2nd place, and a 3DS game to boot!!!

My PC i had before was horrible with games, it always froze playing spore and yes it was a windows runing horrible windows operating system. Spore never froze with my mac.

Oh man Nintendo sure did lose a lot of spots. If they released a 3D pokemon game (sequel to Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness perhaps?) it would sell 3DS hardware units like mad as well as be a beast in software sales. Most people in Japan would move on from wanting a Vita to a 3DS and buy one for Pokemon. That’s what I would do if I were Nintendo anyways.
Ah, I love Monster Hunter. The first game I’ve played was Tri, so I hope that they bring MH4 to the Wii U. Even if they don’t I will buy it for the 3DS.
