    1. Sonic Chaos & Sonic Blast on there would be no surprise, I mean, they were pretty popular on Game Gear & I can see a release for just about every Sonic Game Gear game on Virtual Console in the future.

  1. Meh.

The Game Gear never really had anything particularly fantastic, even for its time… I own a licensed gaming device I bought from K-Mart that is full of Game Gear games (pretty much all of the “big” titles) and whilst it’s great on usage times, it just serves to remind me of how much unused potential there was.

Sure there’s a couple of Game Gear games I’d re-purchase, but I’m more interested in seeing the “classic” Pokémon games made available… I’d glady re-purchase the whole series, just so I could play it on my Nintendo 3DS (though it’s Pokémon: Yellow Version I’m most hanging out for!).

Kinda true, but at that time when the GameBoy didn’t had colors, the GameGear had colors and a better sound rendition.

  2. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the Game Gear version of Sonic 1 to be released on there shortly after launch. I’d love to be able to play Bridge Zone on the go again. :)

    1. If they can make sure they have enough money to buy Sega & still keep their own company safe in finances, buying Sega would be a great move for Nintendo.

      1. Of course. I’m not suggesting they bankrupt themselves buying Sega, I just think it would be a great addition to the already excellent Nintendo catalougue.

And think of all the great franchises that will come along with them.

        1. That’s true. I mean, if Nintendo bought Sega then they would have some pretty big franchises exclusive to their systems. Both Mario & Sonic alone as a Nintendo exclusive would be a big deal that would most likely be a complete success, but they’d also get Shinobi, Bayonetta & plenty more. Nintendo’s exclusives catalog would be pretty tough to beat.

            1. No matter what, even if Nintendo buys Sega, Nintendo will NEVER own the Genesis OR the Dreamcast in my book. But, I do think Nintendo needs to buy Sega ASAP.
