Mario Tennis Open Coming to Nintendo 3DS In May, Features Online Multiplayer

Nintendo has announced that Mario Tennis Open for the Nintendo 3DS will be coming to Japan on May 24th. The game allows you to use the Nintendo 3DS touchscreen for a variety of moves including lobs, top spins etc. Mario Tennis Open will also feature online multiplayer, which will be a more than welcome addition to the franchise. We should hear about a Western release date later today.

  1. Two days before my birthday. Wonder what I’ll be getting…

Hopefully this is more like the N64 original than the ‘Cube version. Didn’t like the power moves (or whatever they were called). An RPG mode like the GBA version would be smashing (see what I did there?) too.
