Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc have recently filed a trademark for a new Pokémon game called Pokémon Adventure Camp. There’s obviously no details on the game, or which platforms it could be appearing on, but I’d assume it’s a new Pokémon game for the Nintendo 3DS. What do you think Pokémon Adventure Camp will turn out to be?

Maybe its a themed summer camp of sorts for little Japanese kids. Probably a game though lol.

I loved the concept of Pokemon-to-Pokemon interaction in that game, shame that they then went ahead and made the game comprise of randomised dungeons that weren’t all that fun to explore.

Hopefully an RPG.At least one where you can move around a simulator camp and play games, or go on little adventures. Sort of like a portable PokePark Wii. I’d play it if it looks good. I also hope it can connect to the previous titles and have maybe some Event Pokemon of some sorts. It doesn’t matter if not, but that would still be cool.
I would love to see a 3D spinoff of Pokemon Snap; one where you can save your favorite photos to the SD card and perhaps it will even utilize the motion controls! But, I seriously doubt that this will ever happen. In reality, It will probably just be a Pokemon Dungeon/Pokepark thing.
I second this! 3DS would make a great home for Pokemon Snap, the only spinoff that I thoroughly enjoyed besides Pokemon Puzzle.
Hopefully, it’s the Pokemon rpg I’ve been waiting for. Walking around an open world Pokepark catching Pokemon and battling friends online.

There will not be a Pokemon MMO. At least not for a long time. Nintendo has stated this and has stated why. The why is, as I remember, “They don’t think it would feel right.”
I can dream can’t I? I think they may be right about that, but I have always had the thought of an open world pokemon game floating around my head.
It would be a good experiment to see if a pokemon game will work with a real time battle system and no more limiting a pokemon’s moveset to only 4 moves.
Removing the moveset limit is breaking the very element the game that considers it a beauty. That for 4-move limit is what opens up the most core stratgies of the game itself. Remove that and you’d have a bunch of queers just slappin every powerful move on all their pokemon and havocing all over the place :/
You’re so right, my friend. I was just thinking out loud about what a pokemon game would look like with a real time battle system, like the Tales series or Final Fantasy 12.

Unfortunately, the name alone means I bet it’ll be a mediocre spinoff. Just the words ‘adventure’ and ‘camp’ bring something like Pokepark or Pokemon Ranger to mind.
If it’s for the 3DS, it’s not the most interesting Pokemon game coming out, so I don’t care for it.
