Monster Hunter Tri G Coming To Europe In July?

Online gaming publication Revo Gamers spotted Monster Hunter Tri G at Media Markt, and they are apparently accepting pre-orders for July. Edge magazine previously mentioned that the game is coming to Europe and North America this year, though Capcom has yet to confirm anything. Capcom’s Captivate event is just around the corner, so I’m sure we will hear confirmation of a Western release then.

    1. Yes sir, I really enjoy it.
It’s basically an open world (despite some limitations) action rpg, it has great weapons, huge monsters and lots of quests. It also (the series) have online multiplayer, where your friends can join quests and help you out. But this 3DS version doesn’t have online feature. =)

        1. I would say it’s a very reflex and skill dependant game, with patience a basic requirement for getting your ass handed to you many times over.

I, like many others started with MH Tri (Wii), which is very good as a starting place, though in terms of different large species, it only has about 1/5th the amount as 3G on 3DS has.

Which is why I’m really excited for this game. SO EXCITED.

It is literally, Monster hunter launches /ignore everyone irl.

    2. This is a fantastic series I’ve ever play. Of course it is really good, although this one doesn’t have online, I’m sure MH4 will, but this is a must have game. It’s up to you whatever you want to buy it or not.

    3. Yeah, its great. The basics are simply: you choose a quest, starts, and the most of times you got to look for a monster in some areas and kill it. The funny is the huge number of equipments you can make, basing on armor (with 5 parts) and weapon (in this game there are 12 categories in total). Every monster materials (you obtain them carving their corpses) can be used to make an armor and weapons, and upgrade them. You can combine items, too, to help yourself figthing: potions to restore healt, pills to increase power, traps… Then, you should choose your set basing on the enemy habilities. For example, an armor that makes you faster when swimming its good to figth underwater, or one that makes you resistant to fire works good with volcano monsters like Uragaan or Agnaktor.
So, yes, its detail level its great, and can make you play LOTS of hours.

    1. The Japanese one does; be patient with the Western releases. MH3 had PAID online in Japan, which was removed for the western release. Online could easily be added to MH3G; it just wasn’t needed for the Japanese version (incredibly high population density means it’s very easy to find someone to play MH3G locally).

    2. But what the monsters you can fight from portable 3rd and an area(?) from portable 3rd as well? And I think it’s a good chance they’ll add an online mode. Heck, people are still playing Tri’s City Mode.

      Capcom won’t mess this up…. maybe…. Hmm….

  1. I have 2 friends who have put over 500 hours into Monster Hunter Freedom for PSP. Their enthusiasm for the game got me to buy Monster Hunter Tri for Wii. Hell, it was only $19.99 & I’m just getting started; but it’s absolutely worth the 20 bucks. The same 2 friends (one is my room-mate) are now playing it online & loving it. All of us are incredibly excited for MH4 & BOTH of them are getting a 3DS as soon as MH3G is released stateside. Looking 4ward to this quite a bit

    Sh-sh-sha!

  9. Next time I read a blog, I hope that it does not disappoint me just as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, nonetheless I truly believed you’d have something useful to talk about. All I hear is a bunch of moaning about something you can fix if you weren’t too busy searching for attention.

  10. You are so awesome! I don’t suppose I’ve read anything like this before. So nice to find somebody with a few unique thoughts on this issue. Seriously.. thanks for starting this up. This web site is something that is required on the internet, someone with a little originality!

  11. After I initially left a comment I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on every time a comment is added I receive 4 emails with the same comment. There has to be an easy method you are able to remove me from that service? Many thanks!
