Namco, Capcom and Sega have revealed their mystery collaboration game as Project X Zone. The game is a strategic role playing game which features numerous iconic characters from each of the game studios. Project X Zone’s gameplay involves pairing up these characters and taking them into battle. Here’s the confirmed list of characters:

- Ryu & Ken (Street Fighter)
- X and Zero (Mega Man)
- Demitri and Dante (Darkstalkers and Devil May Cry)
- Chris and Jill (Resident Evil)
Sega
- Shinguji Sakura and Ogami Ichiro (Sakura Wars)
- Pai and Akira (Virtua Fighter)
- Kurt and Riela (Valkyria Chronicles)
- Ulala and Touma (Space Channel 5 and Shining Force EXA)
Namco Bandai
- Sanger Somvold (Super Robot Wars)
- Jin and Ling Xiaoyu (Tekken)
- Kos-Mos and T-elos (Xenosaga)
- Yurie and Estel (Tales of Vesperia)

Yurie is actually spelled Yuri, and Estel is spelled Estelle. Also, why does the picture show Gemini Sunrise from Sakura Wars if she’s not on the confirmed character list?

Which part was I wrong about? I played Tales of Vesperia (which is an awesome game, by the way), and I know how to spell the names of the characters. It’s hard to forget after 80+ hours. As for Gemini, I didn’t see anything in the link that explained why she is in the photo but not in the
character list (I am also a big fan of Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love, but unfortunately haven’t been able to play the other games in the series since they aren’t out in America).
X and Zero? I might actually get this just for those two. But I probably won’t in order to strengthen my ongoing street fighter boycott. I hate that game so much

If you bought Street Fighter, and not this, then you have supported only the game you didn’t like, which would make it seem as if you liked Street Fighter more.
There is a lot of inconsistencies in this – not sure if I trust the source – spelling mistakes, characters named that mentioned (and vice versa; in the image but not names). Plus as far as I can tell Kaito isn’t a real character from .hack
It’s probably just spelled like the Engrish pronunciation of Kite. Which in that case it would be correct. But I still don’t put much trust in this. Way to many inconsistencies.

I’m excited about the inclusion of X and Zero for Capcom but somewhat disapointed by the lineups for Namco and Sega. I really with they had included Sonic for Sega or Tales of Symphonia for Namco. Those are some of my favorite games.

I’m not very excited at the moment, I only know well Capcom characters, the rest come from games I haven’t played or just played a little or just know about the game existence. This can be a chance to know them better and meet with characters I/we don’t know!

Look looking at this game you can tell that its a Sequel to the not so popular NamcoxCapcom and looking at that games Character Roster i dont think we are just limited to these characters there will probable more characters revealed later on.
Also I have seen some Screen Shots and all the characters mentioned where shown.

Called it, even though in my original post I was mistaken thinking that it was NamcoxSegaxNintendo, but still, I was right about it being a SRPG.
Anyways, for those flipping out about characters, it just says that this is the confirmed list, I highly doubt this is all, and we should expect Sonic (no Sonic wouldn’t make sense).
Lets see… I see Mega Man X, Zero… Wait, Ryu’s in there? ….. And I don’t recognize anyone else. When you’re a Nintendo main, nearly everything non-completely Nintendo is a blur…

You DO know that that picture is not official in any way, right? It was made by some fans based on the characters that they THOUGHT would be in the game. Including that pic is somewhat misleading.
