Tetsuya Nomura has revealed to Nintendo Dream that there’s a chance that Square Enix may produce another The World Ends With You game. Nomura told the publication that the development team decided to do voice casting for the Raimu character in Kingdom Hearts 3D “out of consideration of the future of The World Ends With You series.” Nomura further hinted “Regarding The World Ends With You, I can’t say anything at present… (laughs). But there probably is something.”
With good combat this time I hope.

Why awesome cool anime clothes “in game” looks so GAY in real life? (or photorealistic)
I expected this, even when i finish reading all secret reports, i read that The World Ends With You was inspired to do DS only for games, and i thinked: “One game can’t be enough, I’M SURE there’s gonna be a second part or something” now with the 3DS we have more chance of very better effects of battle and adventure walking, without losing dialogue 2D characters.
The secret-report ending really sets up a sequel.
Still didn’t complete the first one :( I don’t know… Is TWEWY really worth wasting time on it? Like, I’m kinda disappointed of how tedious and boresome it was at the beginning :|

I know most fans won’t agree with me on this, but I’m hoping that Square Enix won’t go overboard with sequels for TWEWY like they did with the Kingdom Hearts series. Unlike the original Kingdom Hearts, TWEWY wrapped up its story well enough in one installment. A sequel isn’t really necessary.
Like I said before, the secret reports open up an alternate ending. I’ll try to avoid major spoilers (BUT STILL SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS) but the gist of it is that the alternate reality Joshua goes to when he… leaves… has a massive problem that only people from the Underground can see. And the Neku from that reality is the only one who can stop it, even if that alternate Neku has no idea what the Underground is (having not died and all). That’s where the sequel would be.

To see this, try finishing the “Another Day” (or whatever it’s called… the top one) secret report at the very top of the list.

I reread the report for Another Day like you suggested, but all the information applies perfectly to the situation in the none-AU Shibuya. However, since it has been a while since I’ve played the game, could you elaborate how you formed the theory that the report, or the chapter in general, alludes to a new threat?
