This weeks edition of Famitsu has revealed that the critically acclaimed Sega Saturn and PlayStation classic Devil Summoner Soul Hackers is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. The game is a sequel to Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner and will see full voice acting and other new features for the Nintendo 3DS. Devil Summoner Soul Hackers will be released in Japan on August 30th.
looks like a cool game
HOLY CRAP PLEASE COME TO THE US!
I love it! More rpgs are always welcome. Leave luck to heaven.
OMG, hey Atlus why not pull another overclocked & release this here before Japan, hahaha I’ll keep dreaming.
Most RPGs are great. Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Devil Summoner are just a few of the many famous RPGs in the world. Can’t wait for this…..unless it’s in Japan only.
Atlus would do well to put more of their SMT series on Nintendo systems. I’d hate to see that long running franchise die out. Atlus can’t afford to close down a studio like Namco-Bandai closing down Tales studio when they focused on the playstation last generation.
I have an article about how Nintendo fans would be much more appreciative of SMT, especially after Pokémon have primed them for minion-training games. I’ll ink it here: http://wp.me/pTWce-g
P3DP anyone?
Well this is exciting news. I hope a North American release will be coming just around the corner, but with translations I bet that won’t be happening soon, sadly.
Finally, a portable remake of something that’s not Persona. Atlus had better localize it.
