Nintendo has reconfirmed that Paper Mario 3D, Animal Crossing: Jump Out and Luigi’s Mansion 2 for the Nintendo 3DS are still scheduled for a 2012 release in Japan. Both Animal Crossing: Jump Out and Paper Mario 3D are listed as ‘to be announced’ in North America, but Luigi’s Mansion is listed as being released this year.

Not any more, Star fox was released before (or after Sunday I’m not sure) but Kid Icarus uprising was released on Thrursday and Friday (different Regions)

Agreed. I just love those Mario games with turn-based fights, like in all of the Mario & Luigi games or the first two Paper Mario games. I was really disappointed when they removed it in Paper Mario on Wii. But in the trailers they showed that they’ll bring it back on the 3DS-version, so I’m looking forward to the game even more.

I live in the states, and I was at Game Stop this weekend picking up a game. They had both Paper Mario 3D and New Super Mario Bros. 2 for pre-order with a release date of Aug. 2.

Paper Mario & Luigis Mansion will keep my 3DS happy, but I really hope they announce another of the Mario & Luigi game :) that series is hilarious.
I agree. The art style of the Mario and Luigi series on the 3DS would be a bit under-powered though. The graphics have always been very simple. Sort of GBA-like. I wonder what kind of improvements could be made to up the graphics on that series and take advantage of the 3DS’s power.
