Third Party Retail Games Downloadable On Nintendo 3DS & Wii U

Nintendo has confirmed that third-party retail titles will be available to download on both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U at launch. Nintendo already confirmed at its investors meeting that first party titles starting with New Super Mario Bros 2 will be available at launch on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in August.

“We are currently preparing a program for third parties but have nothing specific to announce at this time.”

    1. wait… do people actually want the same shit over and over? ITS THE SAME GAME AS GAMECUBE WITH LESS FEATURES AND SHIT GRAPHICS nintendo always does the same realises casual shit like merio galaxy and kirby shit and you still buy it…. Grow up videogame industry is dying thanks to nintendo keeps repeating NO innovation, oh no wait in zelda you fly now inestad of a horse SOOOOO CREATIVE :O:O Get a ps3 or Xbox and suport videogame industry with battlefield 3 or codmw3, pricks

      1. What part of 3rd party do you not get?
”Retail” is something different than ”remake”.

          1. Not sure if you’re the same guy I replied to, but either way; fuck off if you can’t even say something that contributes to the conversation.

            1. Cool story bro, want something better than CoD, MW, or BF? then grow the fuck up and join the fucking army pussies. It has “BETTER GRAPHICS” you can achieve “MEDALS” and the best part is when you are killed, you don’t restart from the last spot you saved it’s “GAME OVER” Honestley I think those games are for wanna be’s. (but that’s my opinion)

      2. I like how you say “nintendo always does the same realises casual shit like merio galaxy” And then you promote CoD…You do know that game is THE SAME as the last one..you idiot.

      3. wow anonymous you are the stupidist person ever seen, nobody will ever take you sereus anymore.

      4. You are most definitely a LOSER, Anon! U mad because the Wii U has more graphics and larger RAM than PS3 and Xbox 360. Although I may own a PS3 (f**ked up Blu-Ray laser and all) and a home computer, I truly support Nintendo as well as 3rd party publishers and developers like EA, Epic Games, Gearbox, WB Games, etc. who give the Big N the fullest support.

  1. It just keeps getting better and better. The buildup to E3 is slow and painful, but will all be worth it. Leave luck to heaven.

    1. Nintendo has so much firepower to unleash at E3 this year it’s insane! The wii gets its sendoff, the next cycle of 3ds games will be revealed, the wii u gets shown off with the glory of nintendo franchises in hd, third party reveals like aliens colonial marines dragon quest x, the unveiling of the Nintendo network, and who knows what other surprises! There is no way this can’t be the big N’s greatest E3 ever!

          1. he said on previous blog threat to Nintendo and fans say “f to Nintendo and no innovation” and say that “cod and battlefield ftw”

            1. There’s not just one person in the world posting on this site as ”Anonymous”, so I don’t see how you could know that. Other than that, thsi guy was being major positive towards Nintendo.

              1. um i may have been reading this wrong, if you say that anonymous if with us than i will take your words dude, there people here trying to be ano and try to say S word. if this is the wrong guy then im sorry for my mislead, my stupid readiness. sorry again

        1. According to the countdown from Operation: Bluewave… we are now 34 days left until Nintendo’s most epic E3 presentation!

  2. I am interested to see what might be downloadable by the time we have the ability to when New Super Mario Bros 2 arrives.
