An ambitious Nintendo fan has created a wonderful F-Zero advertisement for the Nintendo 3DS. Sadly Nintendo has yet to announce an F-Zero game for either the Nintendo 3DS or Wii U. Legendary games designer Shigeru Miyamoto has previously hinted that it’s something he thinks would be a “perfect fit” for Wii U. Let’s cross our fingers that we get some F-Zero related news at E3 next month.

That argument is invalid. You don’t need to make a video to judge a video in the same way that you don’t need to play a game to judge it. If everyone thought like you, we’d end up with a scenario where only politicians would get any say in anything because everyone else can’t ‘judge government decisions without being in a government themselves’.

It’s a good video made by a fan that’s meant to just for fun. There was no need to bash this video. I think while the first anonymous person’s reply might have been intrinsically faulty, their upset response was right on.
afropoof’s harsh criticism was unmerited, and your correction of anonymous’ comment was pretentious and the latter half was equally invalid. Even though you’re right that you don’t (necessarily) have to be a producer to judge something about a product, just to destroy the nature of your concrete statement, there are clearly instances where you DO have to be producer to properly judge a product. Just for a quick example, should a non-dancer judge a dancing competition?
The nature of your example of “if everyone thought like you…” is based on the crude assumption that this is instance here their regular thinking elsewhere. Regardless of whether that’s true or not, there is not present any other instance indicating that they do, To simply apply this one instance of thinking as if evidence of how they further think elsewhere was present (which is actually what your words are actually saying here, whether you mean it or not) is a wily and dishonest tactic.
In short, you’re pretentious, dude, and so was the nature of afropoof’s harsh criticism of such a friendly amateur fanmade video created solely for the purpose of enjoying it with other fans. True, they don’t have to be an amatuer video producer to judge it, but they don’t have to be a total dick, either.

Who said it had to use the Wii Wheel? The Wii still works with the GC controller and the Classic Controller Pro.
