Nintendo ‘A Lot Of The Wii U Third Party Games Yet To Be Announced’

David Yarnton, the head of Nintendo’s UK division, has confirmed that a lot of third-party Wii U titles have yet to be announced by publishers. Nintendo for instance decided not to announce that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be coming to Wii U, instead the information leaked via Nintendo Gamer magazine. What would you like to see?

I think a lot of third-party companies are developing for Wii U and a lot of it hasn’t been announced, but we can’t comment on speculation. There are lots of things everybody wishes for.”

    1. Bioshock: Infinite… now THAT is the game that should come to the Wii U. Even Ken Levine was impressed at Nintendo’s new console!

      1. Well they did delay the game until next year so maybe.. just maybe this could be a sign that they are working on the newer dev kit with the game and are trying to find was of using the GamePad

        1. Somehow I feel like the reason why most major third party games were delayed lately was because of the Wii U.

    2. I really hope that star wars 1313 game comes to WiiU, bounty hunter on GameCube was one of my favorites in that gen.

      1. Actually they stated that was a mistake, but considering the delay of TR I wouldnt be surprised if it comes to Wii U in the end

  1. There are 4 gamaes I would love on the Wii U are Aliens: Colonial Marines, Assassin’s Creed III, Batman: Arkham City: Armored Edition, and a top secret game developed by Retro Studios.

      1. Yeah, that’s…everything already mentioned so far…even the secret game by Retro, because we know they’re “too busy” with something already.

  3. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. That gyro sensor in the GamePad would make a seamless transition from joystick-based fighting controls to a Wii Wheel-style driving control scheme!

  4. Mega Man (whether if it is classic, X, Zero, ZX, or Legends, I want a new game dammit!), RE6, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, DMC: Devil May Cry, and any HD Collection by a Third-Party. There’s more that I can think of, but I don’t want to drag on for too long! :D

    1. ur right because the latest nintendo direct was more interesting and i was shocked when i saw the wiiU’s final form

      1. I know! hey dude what time is it ove there? here is 8:00 am! getting ready for work!
buddy i hope so very much they announce zelda MM HD ahhhhhhh i want that game!!! D:

        1. i hope so because MM was my favourite game of all time. Also i want to hear a starfox and a metroid prime 4 title.

          1. i wonder how star fox is going to be like? i they put the camera chat thing like on the 3ds we can tell is going to be a great game buddy!

    2. That’s what I’ve been saying. It’s no coincidence that their Nintendo Direct has been more informative than their E3. That appears to be the consensus among most youtubers anyway.

      1. Well he has yet to prove, IMHO, that they are going to support the Wii U. I will be pretty pissed if Most Wanted skips the Wii U. Considering that I already want them to port over Hot Pursuit…lol. That is not likely to happen!

        1. Didn’t you see the previous post with the comment from EA saying they declined from talking about their WiiU involvement during E3 but have lots in the work snd will explain more further into Summer.

  5. Bring Resident Evil 6, Watch Dogs, GTA 5 and Bioshock Infinite and you’ve got another Wii U customer.

    MLB2k13
    Vietiful Joe

  7. Sonic, contra, megaman, and castlevania. Bring them back to Nintendo with full force.
Oh, and give us a new darkstalkers already.

  8. Just keep that good 3rd party support coming, Nintendo. Combine that with your unmatched 1st games and we’ll have the second coming of the SNES. Leave luck to heaven.

  9. That Zelda game looks bad ass remember when they said we wouldn’t have to wait long for the next one. what if retros been working on it could be out next year.

  10. Final Fantasy VII-XV
    Resident Evil 5 and 6
    Contra

  11. Please, just no more year old games. I don’t think Mass Effect 3 will do very well, because most people who care have already finished it.

  12. zax is on bath salts

I want Nintendo to have their own new 3rd party titles..megaman, Ninja Turtles, games that i played from the 80’s……and to have what xbox/ps3 is currently getting..as in GTA5, Elder Scrolls/ fallouts, mortal kombats, ninja gaidens REvil, If Nintendo can go back and bring out old games from the 80’s it will be amazing console

  13. zax is on bath salts

Nintendo made the NES..and at that time there was no competition.. every game maker had to go threw NIN…I want that same thing done with the Wii U..have games for everybody…you can own again..the recipe is easy..Make a ton of games..like the nes had

    1. Well, they’ve already got the dual Gamepad support like the NES had (not including the other controllers that don’t have this limitation). It even has a mic like the second Famicom controller.

  14. zax is on bath salts

It seems like the past few console’s/ handhelds that they have been stuck on Zelda/Mario/StarFox…..there is wayyyy more gems out there…and when they do put the Zelda games out; it one every 5 years or 3 ( for handheld )…Metriod skiped the nin64 era…Starfox has been stuck on the same game…
Nintendo needs to be a monster and just unleash the beast…This could be the console that could rival the nes inventory !!!

  15. Even I know Nintendo have LOTS of unreleased games, that’s why I laugh when people criticize their game line-up from the Wii-U E3 conference.
