Last week, Sega said that the Wii U version of Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed will be released in November but claimed that it was a mistake. During a recent interview, Sega’s Derrek Peel stated that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will be released on November 20th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.

Sweet? Hah, since when has Sega developed games that actually deserve critical acclaim? The first one barely managed to be good, this blatant Diddy Kong Racing/Mario Kart 7 rip off should be no different. But of course Sega dickriders will say otherwise, but don’t worry, Sega is dying. I know you’re a troll, and I don’t completely agree with you in the regard that they are dying or ripping off other games (there have been way too many racing games with items to be a rip off), but for Sega’s past decade, they haven’t pulled anything off too well. I mean, the last Sonic game that I enjoyed was Sonic Adventure, but the second one was awful. The original games were impressive, but Sega really need to step their game back up as they are still on that downward slope that can be tough to get out of.

Or before. Since he says all of the versions of the game is coming out on November 20th, we can assume the Wii U comes out before then.
But it is a possibility that Sega designed the launch of this game, for all systems, to match with the launch of the Wii U, but then this would be considered horrible planning since this is a cross-platform title.

I’m thinking it will be a mid november release. Maybe a few days to a week before this game comes out. A lot of hints I’ve been seeing would suggest that kind of launch date.
I guess they’ll comment later saying that they made another “mistake”. lol

It has been estimated as a November release since way before E3. I mean, the GameCube and Wii came out on 18-19th November, and they generated massive amounts of sales in the first month or so. No point in changing a winning formula.
Everybody should know that the Wii U will launch in November a lots of websites have said that it will launch in November GameStop said on the 14th Wii U Daily the 18th and now Sega the 20th its not coincidence

No it has not. The only games confirmed to be in the launch window (up to three months after launch) was everything Nintendo showed at E3 2012.
So it’s most likely between Nov 14-20

Nintendo often seems to release their consoles around the same month in North America, with GBA and DS Lite hanging in the summer time. Can someone please enlighten me why is this the case; Nintendo must be taking this route in some sort of pattern for an advantage. o.O

Exactly. They’ll sell a ton of black friday and go out of stock in places, but they’ll be re-stocked for the christmas shop
And handhelds are released early to mid-year as home consoles dominate Black Friday/Christmas, so Nintendo tend to avoid those dates so people can afford to get new handhelds following that.
@holonboy Yeah, I just realised that, haha. The problem being, though, is that not all countries observe Black Friday, but it is an opportunity for the Americans.

Well, since it wasn’t ever confirmed as a launch title, Wii U will probably launch around
Nov. 10-20. I’m really angry because I don’t have an HDTV. So that sorta defeats the purpose a little… whatever. :/
HDTV’s are cheap as chips now. I bought a decent one at $200 AUD, which means that it’ll be cheaper in the rest of the world as it always is with technology.
The last two released in november, well in the us anyway.

Well, now we all know that the Wii U will be released sometime between November 1st and November 21st.
I think all rumors will stop about the wii u release date in September as that the month Nintendo decides on a date. at least the game is coming for 3ds
