FIFA 13 & Madden NFL 13 Are Wii U Launch Titles

During EA’s Summer Showcase, the publisher announced that Madden NFL 13 will be coming to Wii U. EA confirmed that the Wii U versions of both FIFA 13 and Madden NFL 13 will be released this year – alongside Nintendo’s upcoming console. Both titles will make use of the Wii U GamePad; for example, players will be able to interact with each game in real-time – without being required to pause and interrupt gameplay.

      1. Bioware announced a new single player DLC, called Leviathan. Its coming to Ps3, 360 and PC in the summer, but ME3 on the WiiU comes with all the DLC, including that, all the multiplayer, and the extended cut, as well an interactive comic of 1 and 2, to catch up on the story and make the key decisions

  1. Oh my God. Really? FIFA AND Madden? Halle-fucking-lujah! My life as a games has been made!
Or not. Don’t care. Just don’t care.
Same game but with a +1 added per year. And as for their “realistic” engine? Bull. Shit. About as realistic as a crash dummy simulator.

  2. I’m completely sold on 2 of the 3 games for the Wii U– Madden NFL 13 and ESPECIALLY FIFA 13. The demonstration on that next-gen soccer looks extremely sick. Stats, offense, defense, and everything shown on the Game Pad are at your command at a touch of a screen.

    1. I dont like Fifa, but i cant imagine people and fans really enjoying the new features, especially the shooting mechanic, where you choose where you want to kik the ball in the goal, im impressed

  3. EA Sports games do prove support for the Wii U, but I’d like to see something from their hardcore franchises and/or something rather unique.

  4. I wanted something else from ea not sport games. Maybe in the future they will announce battlefield or crysis for wiiu.

  5. Kind of disappointed in the EA Summer Showcase… I do not like sports games so the FIFA and Madden news was not really what I was looking for. The games do make good use of the gamepad though and that was nice to see! Mass Effect 3 on the Wii U…yeah we already know about that…how about porting over 1 & 2 as well instead of just giving us an interactive story….Anyways….how about some news like Battlefield on Wii U or Medal of Honor on the Wii U? EA has a lot of great franchises that they could be bringing over and we just are not getting the support. Hopefully they decide to come around sometime soon and lay some news on us!

  6. That was a not so amazing showcase. I though EA would revealed Dead Space 3 on WiiU, but nope. Just two sports games, but at least they showed some Mass Effect 3 news. That was cool!

  7. FIFA is very important. It shall bring millions of gamers to Nintendo. World wide people play FIFA not madden. This helps Nintendo lock down Asia, Africa, Europe and the other Americas. Islands every where included.
