Mass Effect 3 Wii U Features New Weapons And Dark Horse Interactive Comic

Mass Effect 3 external producer, Melanie Faulknor, has revealed that the Wii U version of the game will include exclusive weaponry and also allow players to experience the original Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 through an interactive Dark Horse comic. Faulknor also explained that the Mass Effect team didn’t want to go too far out there with Mass Effect on Wii U and just include additional features just for the sake of having new features.

“One of the things we’ve got for Mass Effect on Wii U is a Dark horse interactive comic that allows players to play through the first two games through comic screens, just like if you were reading a comic book,” she said. “You play through the story and it will bring up conversation options that allow you to choose where you want to direct the story.”

Thanks, Pacho

    1. Yeah but good we get the comics of Mass Effect 1 and 2 so we’ll know the story and that the choices we make in the comics will impact how Mass Effect 3 begins. Personally, at the same time, I thought it be better if they just made Mass Effect Trilogy.

        1. @ Rick; I’m aware of who it is.
I’m just so astounded that someone’s got the audacity to try this old troll line that I could not help but play along for the yucks.

          1. Funny how it’s not even trolling, casuals don’t even know it’s a new console and Nintendo’s spending their time explaining it to them rather than instantly getting the message across.

            They’ve already failed.

            1. Nintendo has been “Failing” since the Gamecube. At this rate, they will continue to happily fail for a looong time.

So have no fear. In 30 years, you will still be able to continue bashing Nintendo. Don’t you feel better already!!

        1. LOL, the trolls are coming out in force on this article because they’re jealous that the Wii U is getting some great multiplats that they never ever wanted to see happen on a Nintendo platform.
Their rage in comments is evidence enough.
          I find their tears hilarious.XD
Anyways, as to the video, loved it.
Customizable keys for power mapping right on the pad is going to be awesome. It allows space for so many more.

          1. I agree with you, Mr. Sellers. They’re extremely mad because BioWare have added exclusive weaponry on the Wii U version of “Mass Effect 3: Bring Earth Back” including an interactive comic book from Dark Horse Comics.

            Excelsior DEEZ!!!!!!!

            1. Bring on the ports modified with Gampad!!

I love ports and will be playing the amazing games you have forgotten.

Hurry and test more games so their ported perfection is available for Nintendo fans!

      1. I don’t think this will be the default action. In the final version of the Wii U, the “Home”-Button will work more like the pendant on the 3DS.

    1. first)dicktendo sux and you know that
second) mass effect 3 looks horrible on dreamcast2
final)wiiu is not a next gen console

      1. first)Nintendo is the most important pillar in the gaming industry
        second)everyone said that about wii
third)Wii U is next gen even though it might not be as powerful as durango and ps4 if you judge that by graphics that is just sad
        fourth)you need better comebacks

      1. And it would make sense, FemSheps VA voiced Samus in the Prime games.

360 players can get Master Chiefs armour.
And PS3 players can get… a Killzone armour, XD

          1. It’s not sexist, it’s proper representation.
Female Shepard = Armor worn BY A FEMALE.
Male Shepard = Armor worn BY A MALE.
Male Shepard should be able to get the armor of one of the Hunters off of Metroid Prime; Hunters.
            That would be good enough.
