First Toki Tori 2 Trailer For Wii U Released

In February, Toki Tori 2 was announced as a title that will be coming to Nintendo’s forthcoming console. Developer Two Tribes has released a new trailer, which re-confirms that Toki Tori 2 will be released on the Nintendo eShop and Steam.

The game is not yet complete, but the developer plans to make the game available for download on Wii U’s launch day. Toki Tori 2 will be “around the same price” as the original Toki Tori for WiiWare, which is 1000 Wii Points (or $10).

  1. This game actually looks pretty bad. It’s like an adventure game with the thought processes taken out. Hearing that’s it’s still not done is a good sign, because right now it looks pretty lackluster. The graphics and art style don’t help. and it gets that mix of “realism” and “cartoon” which makes the character look really odd.

      1. I actually didn’t. I’m just judging by the gameplay I saw here, which is supposed to be trying to make me buy it when it’s released.

  2. The main character is not really charismatic, but looks like a nice puzzle. And it makes me realize that WiiU will also have downloadable games in the Launch day. So much win

        1. I’d say good because I like puzzle games. I also said decent for people who aren’t huge fans of puzzle games.

    1. Yes, and the other games like Alien Colonial Marines, Ninja Gaiden 3, Assassin’s Creed III, ZombiU, Mass Effect 3, Batman Arkham City, Darksiders II, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (I think..), Deadpool, Project CARS, Ghost Recon Online and Sacrilegium are all games aimed at kids… *End of Sarcasm*

      1. All except zombiu and rayman will be on CURRENT GEN consoles :p

Whereare the NEXT GEN wiiU games?

Oh wait I forgot. WiiU is current gen…6 years late. Least you don’t need to squint and look at sd blurry imagery anymore :p and u might get some third party support of OLD ports that people like myself have mastered when they were relevant.

Anyway this game is laughable, I can’t take anyone who likes this game seriously. I bet you if it was a ps3 exclusive u wud all think haha its shovelware.

Steam has shovelware too well done. Let’s not forget I game onsteam its a great place for discounts. Pity nintendo overprices their OLD gameboy games looooolz especially in the uk

        1. Nintendo fucked all of us [fans] in the ass with the E3, but I’m counting on it that there will be plenty more revealed towards the launch date.
As for this game: no, it doesn’t look like the greatest, but I think it looks decent enough as a downloadable title. It’s not as if games like these magically make the other games disappear.
I don’t think of it as shovelware, but as a game that looks like it could be fun for those who are in to that genre [not me].
Also, Nintendo is not the place to be if you’re looking for superior hardware, why are you here if that’s what you seem to be looking for (no disrespect, it just seems you’re in the wrong place).

(as for the overpriced gameboy titles: can’t argue with that really.)

          1. That’s where you are completely WRONG! Nintendo is the place to be for superior hardware and graphics… including the revolutionary touchscreen controller. The Wii U is the choice for video games, social, and entertainment. Not only third party publishers and developers are giving the Big N the fullest support… but also independent publishers and developers.

            1. Developers making software…
For me personally: I don’t care that much for graphics, but stop trying to fool yourself Nintendo is the right place nowadays if that is what you care about.

For the rest you should’ve been able to see I was supporting Nintendo, I’m just screaming ”Nintendo dominates everything, Gaystation and Micro$oft suXX!!!1!” without rational explanation like alot of fanboys do. Sorry for that. =/

                1. Not contradicting at all, you just seem to suck at reading.
Here’s a simple breakdown so you might get it:
                  – I love a lot of Nintendo stuff
                  – Nintendo doesn’t have the best graphics (comparing Wii U with ps4 x720, wouldn’t be fair to compare different gens.)
                  – That’s no biggie for me, but if graphics make or brake a system for you, Nintendo isn’t the place for you, regardless of the amazing gameplay and storylines they put in their games.

I’ll be damned if you still can’t understand, should be less hard this time though.

                2. Also: ”fooling yourself” and ”making a fool out of yourself” are two COMPLETELY different things, I suggest you learn the difference.

                    1. Your apology and my second reply were made in the same minute, I just had more to say – it’s cool man :’)
