Capcom has announced that it plans to reveal its first Wii U title very soon. However, the development and publishing studio said that they won’t be revealing their new game at this years GamesCom event which is taking place this week.
“There is a rumour that we are working on a Wii U game.”
“It won’t be at this show. But we do have something waiting in the wings, and we will be talking about that very soon.”

to be honest im happy with almost anything that capcom announces, just the fact they are developing for wii u brings a smile.
lets not forget that RE4 was released exclusively for gamecube until it got ported to PS2 nearly 2 years later. Not only that but it was one of the best selling RE games to date AND introduced several staples of gameplay that are found in RE5 and 6. The only reason RE5 wasnt on wii was because of the lack of HD. Capcom and NIntendo have a long standing and close relationship. RE6 is likely. A new monster hunter is unlikely since the next one is still slated for 3DS.

WIi U can’t even be compared to current gen consoles. The CPU can handle up to 16 threads while the PS3 and 360 can handle only up to 6 threads.
It can also handle up to 8k textures and DX11 tesselation and compute shading.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Neither of those indicate a DX11 GPU. Compute shading is supported in DX10.1 and the 360 has a tesselation unit too. Doesn’t mean it’s good at that.
Educate yourself and stop trying to pretend that you know what you’re talking about. The Wii U is not DX11 or OpenGL 4.1/4.2 and Epic not supporting the console with UE4 is total evidence of that.

I’m hoping so bad for another Okami-title… The Wii U would be so perfect for this game. You can use the Gamepad thingy for the celestial brushes and the big screen for showing off the whole beauty of the sumi-e style in HD. It would be like combining the beauty of Okami and the special controls of Okamiden in HD :’D

That won’t happen ^^ The HD remake of Okami will be released for the PS3 and Capcom certainly won’t go through the terror of remaking a PS3 game for the Wii U just because of a game anyone might as well just play on the PS3. It would be way too much work to change the whole controls and seperate the graphics on two different screens etc. No way ^^ The possibility of them creating a new Okami game for the Wii U exclusive is much greater.

I agree the e3 trailer was just plain stupid action. They should go back to the old style, and when I say old style I doesn’t mean RE4 bullshit, I mean Resident evil 1 style. But that will never happen, so I hope at least they could make RE6 more like RE4 then RE5. But from the gameplay it doesn’t look like that.
Don’t get me wrong RE4 was awesome but it cannot stand up to legendary RE2(best of all), REmake and RE3. By the way RE4 wasn’t a survival horror.
