Yesterday it was announced that long-standing Nintendo publication Nintendo Power is closing its doors. Now we have found out the last edition of the magazine will be published in December. Sources close to the publication stated that Nintendo was difficult to work with, and that they had no interest in helping Future’s transition to the digital era.
That’s really sad.

Nintendo power is nothing but A-Holes and nothing more. I actually have proof that i was the 1st and only one who invented the Turok 2 Seeds of evil “SHADOWSOFOBLIVION” cheat for the multiplayer and said that they would send me free items and guess what?….They never did and BELIEVE me i have searched every site and every second to see if it would come up and never did until after i sent the letter. It’s about time KARMA hit the 10 folds X)

Rather than some headstrong urge to not move into the future, I believe Nintendo just feels they can do what they used to do on Nintendo Power with their online content and just don’t want to deal w/ an extra party.

Nobody is the bad guy in this situation, it’s understadable, Nintendo Power isn’t making as much money as 10 years ago. Still, it’s very sad to see them go, Nintendo Power’s journalist were the best journalists in the industry, at least in my opinion.

I hope the last issue is a retrospective of some kind. Even a gallery of the covers would be welcome =) Sorry to see you go, NP, but I’m very thankful my subscription started in January. I knew the Jan/Feb combo was a BAD sign.
