It was rumored, a couple of months ago, that a Transformers title would be coming to Nintendo’s upcoming console. An ESRB rating confirms that there will be a Wii U version of Transformers: Prime – The Game, which will also be released on all current Nintendo platforms – including Nintendo DS, Wii and Nintendo 3DS. The game is a brawler, and will launch toward the end of the year.
Oh big deal. FALL OF CYBERTRON PLEASE
All that game needs are the voices of Peter Cullen and Frank Welker.
I actually really like the show. However, I’ll most likely NOT play this game.
At least it shows that the Wii U is still getting more games though for those who do want to play…
War of Cyberton and Fall of Cybertron are great game, lots of fun, so there can be good TF games…doesnt guarentee this will be ons though
Oh, I know. I’m a huge Transformers franchise fan (been there since the 80s Generation 1). I got both War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron on day 1 each.
However, those games are not based off of any TV show or movie and the development team at High Moon studios has had the freedom to actually write/carry out the Transformers backstory canon in conjunction with Hasbro.
Transformers Prime, however, is a TV show and while I like the show itself, we all know how games based on TV shows and movies USUALLY (I know not always) turn out. Plus I have seen the previews for this game… ehm…. No thanks.

So far the only Transformers games that I have really enjoyed are the recent ones from High Moon studios. Transformers: War For Cybertron and the sequel that just came out this week, Fall of Cybertron.
