€8 Billion Activision Blizzard Sale Is Still Being Considered

Vivendi is still courting numerous companies for a sale of its €8 billion majority stake in Activision Blizzard. CVG reports that despite recent assurances by Vivendi they are still eager for a sale of Activision Blizzard and it remains absolutely under consideration. The publication says Microsoft approached Activision Blizzard, but negations have not advanced any further at this moment in time.

      1. actually nintendo have A LOT of money
they earned more than 5 billion dollar in 2008
did you forgot that they sold 90 million wii’s and 150 million ds and 20 million 3ds and many many software sales like pokemon and mario

  1. Microsoft acquired Rare, and see what happened to them. I’m not actually into what Actvision makes, but I’m pretty sure they’ll be doomed if they become part of Microsoft…

                  1. Well, seeing as you can only screw up the typing if you actually need to type, and how this website remembers your username…

  2. *Sigh* Way to ruin Starcraft, Warcraft and Diablo. I don’t care jackshit about Actvision console games, but the Blizzard division is my favorite. :(

Oh well, it’s not like Activision didn’t ruin Blizzard before anyway, so I guess everything is downhill now.

  3. HAHHAHAHA MICROSOFT WILL BUY IT I AM SURE OR ELSE I MUST “HACK” TO THEIR NETWORK AND DESTROY THEM ALL!

  4. I could care less about Activision. Games from Nintendo are quality games. Games from Activision are made for big fat American people who dont like to go outside, or for kids who like laggy online games.

  5. I’m unconcerned by this.
Neither of those two, nor Beth[referring to other article] make the games I play most often.
Now if Microsoft announced they were selling Rare, however, and it were being reported here, I’d want Nintendo to scoop that up and refill the company with people from their own ranks, they deem worthy of the task, so that the company’s name and reputation can be redeemed.
At the very least, I’d like to see Banjo-Kazooie sold to someone else.
