Nintendo TVii was announced during today’s Wii U Preview event. The application is for Wii U and works with services like Hulu, Netflix and TiVo. Everyone in households can personalize their TV viewing interests. With Nintendo TVii, you can either watch shows, movies, or games on the TV screen or the Wii U GamePad.

I have a question, is this its own TV service or something? I mean, i don’t have a cable box in my room, so if this allows me to watch TV anyway, it’ll make me want the Wii U even more
See, things like PS3 doing this just aren’t different from watching them normally. Then Nintendo goes and decides to do it, but they have an idea in mind. I like it!
