Namco Bandai Games’ Katsuhiro Harada, who is also the producer of Tekken Tag Tournament 2, is pushing for the localization of Project X Zone, which is the first crossover game among Namco Bandai Games, Capcom and Sega. On his Twitter account, Harada says he “proposed localization of Project X Zone,” and if he continues pushing for it, his suggestion will be recognized and considered.

Project X Zone will launch exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on October 11th.

    1. It means that it would have a chance of making it out of Japan, so that we could get our hands on it. Either through EU or NA (or hopefully both) localization.

  1. You know, i would understand japanese devs/guys if they don’t want to localize it, i think it wouldn’t be worth it, a game like this would not sell well outside of japan. Of course i hope it gets localized and proves me wrong but… i have my doubts.

  2. Here’s the thing, though: I’m hoping more games like these get localized as Nintendo moves forward with full retail digital retail. Takes some of the risk out of the localization efforts. They still have to translate, it, but at least don’t need an outside publisher like now.

      1. I fully agree with this. I bet if full digital downloads were more common, America would have gotten the Project Rainfall games a lot faster, and the West could get more Japanese exclusive games period.

  3. They should a limited release like Xenoblade if they’re unsure about it. People may enjoy it in the West, you never know. Leave luck to heaven.

  4. I wonder why do they think it’ll not sell outside Japan… do they know that most gamers love those series, or the hype it generates in western countries? Localize it already, dammit!

    1. Because jrpgs normally don’t sell well over seas. Its been proven time and time again. JRPG’s have loyal fans though (I’m one of them) but were only a few, so at times it might not be worth it.

  5. At least they can’t say they haven’t tried. Still I hope it makes it. Another awesome game for me to play is a good thing in my book.

    1. “Developing on new hardware in itself was a challenge, and also making that launch date was a challenge. But from a visual standpoint, based on the performance of the Wii U, we knew the game had the capability of having much better graphics than games on PS3 and Xbox 360. Make no mistake, from a visual standpoint, it is able to produce better graphics. So our challenge was to make a higher quality graphics. We were able to meet that.”
And it has a tablet style gamepad controller ….. Here is a dildo for your ass .

  7. There’s an actual chance this will get localized? So I might not have to buy a Japanese 3DS to play it? So. Fucking. Yes.

  8. When I looked at the site after I went to go out to have a life (unlike the trolls),I saw this and I was like.FUCK YEA!! It is kinda like UMVSC3 but their are more variety and TONS of characters.

  9. Ok, I just want to know. Am I the ONLY person on this site who doesn’t really care for the Japanese exclusive games? For me at least all the games I want are localized.

    1. Okay, you said that it is better than ps3 and xbox 360,so you would be contradicting yourself if you said otherwise.

  10. good now just need to get a globe online petition to be sent and we might actually have a chance of getting this out in the world

  11. Yes please localize this!!! I watched a 17 minute video just drooling over how amazing this game is. It’s packed full of frantic action and has a pretty good line-up of characters. What I don’t understand is wouldn’t there be less risk involved if they made it available to the west on eShop? That way they don’t lose that much money on porting it over. Just a thought.

  20. Thanks for the something totally new you have discovered in your article. One thing I would really like to touch upon is that FSBO relationships are built after a while. By releasing yourself to owners the first weekend their FSBO is announced, prior to masses commence calling on Mon, you produce a good link. By sending them equipment, educational products, free records, and forms, you become an ally. If you take a personal curiosity about them plus their circumstance, you produce a solid relationship that, on most occasions, pays off when the owners decide to go with a representative they know plus trust – preferably you
