CESA has announced the contenders for the best upcoming Japanese video games. The voting for the games is decided by the attendees, and the winners are decided on the number of votes each title receives. Without further ado, here are the eleven titles:

I mean some parts were cool but as long as Mila Sonovabich comes out as the protagonist it’ll will always suck. Not to mention the cheesy final fight scenes…they got Mortal Kombat X-ray moves in that shit! The orchestra music didn’t sound good at all with the fighting I tell you that. Saw it in 3D. I give it a 6.5 out of 10. They could’ve just made it a 3 hr movie and just ended it properly.

I don’t watch TGS fully but the upcoming games I am waiting are apparently still take long time to be announced. especially Remember Me.

If it doesn’t come out on the Wii U in Japan, I doubt we will get it on Wii U in the West. It’s hard enough to get those games localized in their original format as it is.

Actually I dissagree, tales of graces. (Wii exclusive in Japan) got released on the Ps3 here in the states, so Xillia2 on WiiU isnnt so far fetched.
No, Tales of Graces was released on PS3 in Japan as well in 2010 as Tales of Graces F.
The difference is, we just didn’t get the Wii version outside of Japan. So I’m saying, if there’s no Wii U version in Japan, don’t expect us to get one magically here. We got the PS3 version of Tales of Graces F after it was released in Japan, TWO YEARS later lol.

I like JJBA and all but All-Star Battle’s gameplay looks so slow, especially for a fighting game. I get that it’s only 30fps, but even so.
I hope Yakuza 5 wins, though Ace Attorney 5, Revengeance, Bravely Default, and Monster Hunter 4 all look great too.
I love the Yakuza series. I have played them all so I’m hoping 1 & 2 HD and 5 get localized. 5 looks so much more awesome.

The more of these japanese game make it to the west, the better, regardles of platform, I’m happy.

The Vita doesn’t have a region lock though, does it? A western release would be more convenient but the option of importing is atleast available.
Yeah, PS3 and Vita games are mostly region free. Very rarely they’ll lock them. I could import them but it would be useless since I do not fully understand Japanese.
Well that and DLC, that isn’t region free. I learned it the hard way lol
