Assassin’s Creed 3 Is Ubisoft’s Most Preordered Game Ever

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed 3 is the company’s most pre-ordered game in its twenty-five year history. Pre-orders of Assassin’s Creed 3 have doubled those of its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, in the United States. Assassin’s Creed 3 Wii U is due to launch alongside the console on November 18th.

    1. Noooo! You’re doing it wrong. lol

Joking. But of course I hope you played AC and AC II thereafter. =p So far, AC II is still my favorite in the series but AC III is looking pretty awesome too.

        1. The combat in AC is an unholy abomination, especially near the end when the eight-on-one templars will kick the loving crap out of you hard. I mean, really, Al Mualim (seeing as you’ve played Brotherhood, this isn’t a spoiler, yes?) was pie compared to the templars, like, man. But in some ways it kept you on your toes. AC 2’s combat in comparison is a bit…lame, especially when just mashing the attack button will get you everywhere, and the fight at the end is one of the most overdrawn boss fights ever. At least the means to assassinate have greatly improved, and both the fighting and the assassinating have improved much in Brotherhood (you couldn’t combo execute multiple enemies before Brotherhood).

    1. Don’t care if it is. Still getting it on PS3. Looking down on the gamepad to change weapons would be annoying especially if you’re in the middle of a fight. It’s stupid.

      1. I dont you’d have to look down. Similar to Mass Effect 3 the commands, or i this case weapon choices are all in a line in order. You’d be able to just touch the icon without even look, just due to spacial awareness and once you get familiar with the gamepad.

Not like it matters in combat, in just gona pull out the tomahawk like i did with the dagger in all the others, the item change is more useful for selecting potions, poison, that rope thing ect.
But the map is the best thing in my opinion. Way too many times did i bring up that map screen in all the other AC games -.-

      2. i dont care what platform you get it on, but the whole “i dont want to look down” excuse is pretty lame. i actually got my hands on the wii u recently at my local bestbuy, and it’s not a problem. when switching weapons, at first you’ll have to make a quick glance at the screen to figure out where the weapon is, but after switching weapons a couple time you can just switch without even looking. it feels kindof similar to adjusting to a new controller and figuring out where all of the buttons are since you’re used to a different one. like going from a playstation controller to an xbox controller. but either way, get it on whatever platform you want mang.

          1. exactly. it reminded me a lot of when i was trasitioning from console to pc. except in this case it’s actually easier since all you’re doing is adjusting to the fact that you now have a screen that you can interact with in addition to standard buttons and analog sticks.

  1. Unsurprising, and i shall be waiting till 30th of November to get this game, just because of the online, no-one on my ps3 will buy this game -.-

  2. is that an old screenshot. cause i was going to say that its interesting that connor is coming from a place were the union flag is flying but is about to butcher up some frenchies who aided the colonists.

      1. NOOO it’s clearly a player who thought killing civilians was exactly what Connor did back in the day. You know the kind.

    1. And just Dance 4!

Pre orders aren’t a big deal to the casual market though, they buy it if the see it, that’s why the Rabbids, just dance, and imagine series are they’re best selling franchizes.

  3. I’ll try it at some point, depending which version my friends will get cause of online. Too bad cause I was digging the setting since I love American History. That and I have to knock down more games from my backlog of unplayed and unfinished games.

  4. 3 weeks b 4 the king arrives I don’t think the world is ready just by using my kindle I can see the e gamepad is the future softsony can create something better but I would be surprised

  5. Had they not made Zombie U that amazing AC3 would have been my second choice Wii U game. As things stand, FIFA 13, Zombie U and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate are my choice Wii U titles. Some one buy AC3 for me this Christmas please!

        1. Well, look at the PS2, it’s graphics weren’t much of an improvement from the PS1 but I don’t think people considered it current-gen when it came out(could be wrong, here). I’d actually consider the difference between the two somewhat less than the Wii and Gamecube.

  6. I know I preordered it, and it’s gonna be an awesome game !
Ubisoft Montreal is another reason to make me proud to be Canadian lol

  7. I know the Wii U isn’t even out yet but I’m already excited for Nov. 20, 2016. That’s when the true next gen Nintendo will launch. I want my Nintendo VR already.
