How was DQ7? I’m guessing it wasn’t for Nintendo’s platforms (?).
Most think it’s the best of the series. There’s just something about Square and the number 7 isn’t there?
Dq 7, 8 and 9 are renowned to be the best jrpgs in the series and, to my knowledge, only appeared on ps2.
7 was PS1, 8 was PS2, 9 was DS.

Awesome, I’m guessing it will get localized, like 4, 5 and 6 did. Can’t wait, haven’t played 7 or 8 yet.
dq8 was one of the best jrpg’s to make it overseas. It’s so deep and fuul of secrets that give it a ton of replay value. Not only that, but it’s long as hell when level grinding. When you thought you beat it, there’s like a hundred more things to do, and when you actually beat it they yet again throw a new trial in your face. And the level up system is so intuitive, you cant make a super-powerful multi-weapon character, but you can make a superpowerful single weapon character, and that pushes you to replay the game and beat it with completely new weapon skills each time.
I hope this is true. I’ll probably get it, even though I have it for the Playstation

DQIX was one of the best selling DQ games in the west thanks to Nintendo handling publishing.
This was teased a while ago. Good to see it finally confirmed.
This little thing just keeps on giving……. If this was announced for the vita it would be hailed as the ”saviour” , but for 3ds is just another game to add to the 10 must buys for next year…

7 is regarded to be the worst in the series as takes forever to get going (heard rumours of an hour before the first slime) Still. More Dragon Quest is always great.
In Japan, it’s actually one of the best. And no, no battles for a while in the beginning because the story is CRAZY strong. But an hour is an exaggeration.
Now all we need is an FF7 remake, too :)
They dont need to remake it for 3ds just ad 3d clean the jaggies and ad boss mode and i will be happy,also a cool mission mode that puts you against difrent monster and bosses ,exsample:mission 1 beat boss using tifa cloud and aeries whit out using healing magic but potions and buff magics are ok

Wait… I just looked at some screenshots. Why bother remaking 7? It looks perfectly fine. It doesn’t look like you could do anymore with it on the 3DS.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ll buy it day one. This exactly what the 3DS needed. The more RPGs the system has the better. Here’s to hoping for remakes of DQVIII, FF V, FFVI, and FFVII.
