    1. This will be an expensive month..
      Halo 4 $59.99
      Paper Mario 3DS $49.99?
      Black Ops 2 $59.99
      Wii U $349.99
      NSMBU $59.99
      ZombiU $59.99
      AC3 $59.99

I think thats it for November. Total = $699.93 + tax

    2. It’s interesting that the hardware still sells so much although the software sales aren’t that much for the week in comparison.

Nintendo marketing. They do it well.

      1. People are still replaceing their DS’. And buying One of the already huge catalogue of games for 3ds in japan.

        1. Agree ppl in japan are buying a 3ds and 1 of the huge catalogues of game exsample those who bough a console today may have bought a game released a few months back or are waiting for games comming tomorrow

    1. 3DS is outselling everything else and the Wii U is sold out and it’s not even out yet. Tell me again how they’re screwed?

  1. I seriously need to upgrade to the 3DSXL. The screen is way to small on the original. I’m more excited about the Wii U though.

  2. Why aren’t any of the Vita games in the top 10 list? Why is the Vita still in 4th place on consoles sold?? sigh… for such an impressive piece of hardware, it’s software ain’t sellin it much. Kinda lamenting it a bit too

      1. Only big one they have announced that might do something good for it is soul sacrifice but that’s being pitted against monster hunter 4.

        1. Well, Soul Sacrifice is a new IP so we’ll see how that one does. At least other games announced like God Eater 2, Muramasa, Atelier Totori, Phantasy Star Online 2, Realta Nua, and Tales of Hearts R might give it a boost in Japan.

          1. tales of hearts r?

Damn namco, Tales of innocence R hasn’t made it over sees and now japan gets another tales game? :( I gotta learn japanese.

      2. Yea but if they are counting on big console ports i will do no good, thats vita biggest problem, there is a vita game that cought my attention but i dont remember the name but it looks like a diorama vita needs more games like it and forget a bit about having console ports difrent art style than the console version also would help exsample i would love a fighting game ala vs series if they where make using project x art stile

        1. I believe they should have more quality and intriguing games like Gravity Rush. I played the demo and I can see myself owning a vita if it had more games like that. My only concern is that since I have big thumbs and the vita’s buttons/analog sticks are so small it’ll be a problem for me. The only buttons that are of normal size are the the shoulder buttons.

      3. for a week or two. It happen in the past with MGS HD Collection and few others then it drop to the usual numbers 5000-9000.

  3. Ouch I think this week is vita’s lowest week, they just revised their sales forecast again down to 10million which I’ll doubt they will hit. Sony how can you say this is selling to your expectations when you had to revise your forecast down twice?

Anyway that aside, with the announcement of DQ7 3ds momentum is only going to build, just needs a bit more better support in the west and it’s in the bag for Nintendo.

    1. So true i want a vita but getting 1 just for mgs collection rayman and ps1 games? The price still dont cut it for me,im not saying is overpriced but if the would just have added any sice of memory whit purchase im now would be a vita owner

  4. And also big games coming in the next few weeks/months :
Luigi’s Mansion, Paper Mario, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter 4, etc.
This will be the finishing blow to Vita in Japan.

  5. Bring us all these goodies from Japan’s 3DS, and it will be same for EU and US, or just remove this bloody regionlock. I hope that 3DS lite will be free from this thing, I will instantly exchange my 3DS XL for lite one.

The funny thing is “hardcore” American gamers continue to hate on the 3DS and get the Vita instead. Have fun with that you awesome “hardcore” gamers you! Shooter and sports games, hooray… not.

      1. I think it’s because in the Americas, gaming is most popular on console and PC, but meanwhile in Japan, gaming is most popular on PC and handhelds.

        1. Or maybe the 3ds could use some battlefield or call of duty or assassin’s creed 3ds sales in the west would kill japans

          1. Sir Nicholas Pennyworth

I wouldn’t want the 3DS to sell out like that… and yes that would be selling out – catering to those fools who only play FPS’ and sports games. I’m talking about those stubborn ignoramuses. Gaming is so much more than that, even though I suppose those two categories can supplement other genres if that is their thing. If people enjoy that so much try actually playing the sport or join the military… and have fun with the latter ;) There are some awesome sports games and FPS’ but most are a joke (looking at you Madden and COD)

  7. Wow anyone else notice how low Vita is? I’ve never seen it hit below the 7 million point yet until now… Not good news at all for Sony.

    1. Yeah ever since that rep announced the price cut for next year, the sales have dipped from the average 12-13 thousand to below the 10’s.

The cross buy games should make a difference in the next couple of weeks.

  9. Why on the world is AKB48 selling more than Bravely Default? i tough that nobody cared for AKB48.

Freaking Idolmaster, Why can’t i have you? .Sob
I was planning to buy a Psp or Vita before, but realized it was too expensive for me, and there where no games on shops. Only Uncharted and some Sports games. That was depressing.
And now it seems that the Vita is having some problems there…

Now, Why isn’t Bravely Default in America/Europe yet? I’m gonna cry i don’t get that game .Megasob
