Several large retail sites have removed the pre-order bonus of Nuketown 2025 from the Wii U version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. It appears as though Nuketown 2025 is only a pre-order bonus only for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Black Ops 2. Activision and Nintendo has declined to say if the free pre-order map pack will be coming to Wii U.
It seems to me that Activision and Treyarch isn’t ready for the Nintendo Network.. hopefully at the moment.
Or the Nintendo Network isn’t ready for them. Nintendo has been pretty tight lipped about it, after all.
We’ll see. I’m sure full features and complete games will come. This is just the launch. No system is absolutely perfect at launch, but they improve over time. Especially now in the age where everything is connected online. Updates can come easily.

Well third party sales have been poor for the past 3 gens on Nintendo consoles starting with N64, then GC and Wii… I dont think anything will change with wiiU. Its a great console and looks promising but i dont think developers will take it seriously. Would be cool if they did but dont act surprised if they turn their back on U (pun intended)

Nuketown isnt even a good map. Its literally 3 identical houses surround a few vechiles, its just a small map. Black Ops had some much better maps, just dumbass player that stuck to one tiny area

Well the wiiu version has exclusive features that any other version does not. You can play Dual screen coop and competitive instead of Gimped split screen. You can use the wii remote and nunchuck , or pro controller. And there is the map on the Gamepad and some touch controlls i think.
That makes the wiiu version unique and attractive.
Sorry, did you just call split screen “gimped”? Sure it’s handy having a second screen but honestly I never have problems with split screen playing with friends. I’d honestly rather having the bigger screen on the TV and risk screen cheating than have to focus my attention on the small GamePad screen.

if developers know what they are doing they can sell a lot of games on the Wii, just look at Just Dance 2 for Wii (5 million), that sold more than CoD:MW (4.2 million) and Grand Theft Auto 4 (4.4 million) on the 360.

Without going into a new resolution, the ps4 graphics cannot be extremely noticeable, and even if the difference is there, it either will not be enough to steer nintendo fans and developers away from wii u, or could be noticeable and be very pricey. Whether you think it is a gimmick or a great controller, it will be neat to kids and, if used right, cool to older kids/adults. Once the wii u gets a year in, the competition will need to release their consoles.
