The first screenshots of Dragon Quest VII have appeared online courtesy of Japanese publication 4Gamer. As you may have guessed, the game is a complete remake of the critically acclaimed Dragon Quest VII, which appeared on the original PlayStation in 2000. The remake is completely exclusive to Nintendo 3DS. Dragon Quest VII comes out in Japan, February 7th.

After Fire Emblem and Monster Hunter this is my most wanted game. I love DQ so much and I need a good lengthy RPG for my 3DS besides Tales of the Abyss.
I’ve never played a Dragon Quest game before, I may get this if it’s released over here.
It’s a great series to get into if you like classic turn based RPGs. The first game I played was DQIV on DS and didn’t know a whole lot about the series before I bought it. When I started playing it I became obsessed and couldn’t quit thinking about how great the game was. The two that I highly recommend are DQV (has one of the best stories of any RPG) and DQIX. If you own a DS or 3DS you are pretty much set.
