    1. these prices are wzy too high , just like euro 3ds eshop . a game should cost no more than 45 pounds. 40 is standard on all consoles.

this renders the ddp useless in the uk , except for none retail games. the physicall games are the right price in store. i will never download a retail game at those prices.

meanwhile usa eshop prices are perfect. Nintendo europe shot themselves in the foot.

  1. ZombiU – £54.99

I’m sorry, but that is absolutely outrageous. For American readers, that is approximately $87-90. For a digital download of ONE game.

      1. Even the eShop prices here are good compared to prices of games in Australia. $120 for a new game and the Australian and US dollar’s are currently about the same.

          1. The price of living is so much higher in Australia too, and the minimum wage difference is too low to warrant the high prices we pay for games.

      1. Seriously? People are “noobs” because Nintendo were too stupid to introduce a backup in case the power goes out or the internet goes down mid update? Pfft. I love Nintendo but this update crap is ridiculous. No emergency back up and terrible bandwidth at their end. Even with my 125mb/s connection it took me an hour and a half. Nintendo really need to boost their servers.

  2. well those are peppered prices.. usually i’d only expect them to directly convert their $ pricing to € pricing.. not pounds aswell

  3. Look at at these shitty overpriced games lol wii u fail with watered down ports with shitty frame rates fuck nintendo haha!

        1. REALITY CHECK– The Nintendo Wii U is THE REAL NEXT GEN console. The developers haven’t reached the system’s full potential. Shut the fuck up and play Wonderbook: Book of Spells, you fucking tinkerbell!

        2. You are dumb, ims still getting the Wii U, PS4 and i have a high end PC, thats minimum, i will get maybe even next Xbox….

Please, just stop to be so stupid….

Next gen doesnt means onloy power, please, do some research.

    1. You think PS4/next Xbox games will be priced “correct”? dream on…. not all ports are bad, exaple for Mass Effect 3, Wii U 26-30 FPS (almost 90% time 30 FPS) and PS3 even 16-20 FPS at some times.

Ports are always bad and this doesnt means Xbox 360 is the most powerful console…. PS3 more powerful and Wii U.

      1. You mad ps4 gonna run games in 2160p 60fps in 3d wii u only 720p 30fps haha and next box 8. Gigs of ram plus smart glass will destroy wii u lol!

        1. Lose weight, you fucking fat ass troll. You have zero proof of what the PS4 does. The SmartAss is nothing but a fucking rip off of the Wii U GamePad. And you’re completely wrong about the Wii U’s resolution. The Wii U presents games up to 1080p and runs up to 60 fps. Get your fucking facts right!

            1. well damn this site.. i took the time to actually list the games complete with sources x_x

well this will have to do now whether you believe me or not

              black ops 2 (confirmed)

              skylanders giants (confirmed)

monster hunter 3 (supposedly when it launches)

              zombiU (unreliable info)

also toki tori and rayman legends but those are mostly 2D anyway so it’s not surprising
most of the other info on whether it’s 1080p or not is very unreliable
i’m sure there will be more in the future

        2. Why would i be mad? im not buying consoles because of specs… im buying a PC because of specs.

Im still getting the PS4 and Wii U….. whos mad? i dont know, but im not mad at all.

Wii U is next gen in terms of unique lag free touch/analog/digital gamepad, Miiverse (some unique feautures), RAM and GPU.

Next gen is not equal to just power, PCs are already capable of 4K resolution and more, eyefinity etc….. so, is it fair to call all the consoles last gen? no, its not fair because again, next gen is not equal to power/specs alone.

                1. I never said its something “so powerful”, its not and consoles in general (Nintendo, Sony, MS…. whatever) cant beat PC, ever. Im just saying…. Wii U has more RAM, better GPU and unique controller (Vita and PS3 combo actuall lags, Wii U controller doesnt lags, its faster than TV), i have nothing against PS3, just saying that its not designed for that “out of the box”. And if we ignore the PC, yes, Wii U is 8th gen console just like PS1 was a 5th gen console.

And ofc im not dumb, i dont expect 1080p and 60 FPS, especially not for FPS and TPS games for example but for some indie/sidescrollers its possible, i was and always will be a PC gamer and ofc i know this, but im also always a Sony and Nintendo supporter and @TheOriginalUNation just dreams a bit.

                    1. Funny thing…. but what kind of answer/reply is this?

                      One more thing….

                      1. 1024x 768 is perfect fit for 17″
                      2. 1280x 1024 is perfect fit for 19″
                      3. 1680x 1050 is perfect fit for 20-22″
                      4. 1920x 1080p is perfect fir for 22-24″

Question number 1….. whats the real/native resolution (and will be) for 90% PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U games?

                      Question number 2…

                      Whats your TV screen size?

Yeah, THIS MOMENT I WAS WAITING FOR…. you see, as a PC gamer i can say: “you are playing the bad way” but no, im not like that because im real, im playing games not specs thats why i will support all of them (Sony, Nintendo, PC aka MS). Consoles cant beat PCs (ever – 4ever wooooo) and 4K is not next gen actually, PS4 needs much more than that to be more powerful or “next gen in terms of power” (resolution alone is in some ways equal to AA and thats not next gen), frames per second again, its not next gen just “smooth”, but to many frames per second with screen tearing for example is BAD.

Next gen is “time” or in simple words: unique ways to play games, more shaders, more polygons, better physx, new things etc. Its not just specs…. and because Wii U is a console just like PS4/next Xbox and consoles cant beat PCs (same thing for Atati, Sega, Nintendo, Sony, MS),

Bla bla… Wii U is the first 8th gen console = END!

                    1. Zelda as TPS/FPS game and 1080p 60fps? i highly doubt….. 720p and 60 max. But, Wii U renders two screens (capable of rendering two different screens) so hmm… 720p and 30 FPS is more reliable + whatever resolution (480p ?) and 30 FPS for Wii U gamepad.

                2. next gen is not only about power it’s about progress in the general meaning of the word
                  about time people realize that

    1. Not really. There’s just a bigger market for FIFA Soccer in Europe where it is the most popular sport. releasing a FIFA Soccer demo in the US would be like releasing a cricket game in Europe, it would be supported by some but not by many. There’s a reason FIFA 13 is the worst selling game on the US eShop.

  4. £54.99 for a game is outrages, unless it’s a special edition the most expensive a new games in the shop, depending on what console is somewhere from around £34.99 to £44.99.
These prices don’t matter to me anyway as I buy all my games boxed unless they’re Virtual Console or download exclusive games.

  5. I hope to god no one buys these, i mean c’mon that’s just too expensive. Why don’t we just wait for them to lower the prices? If no one buys them they’ll have to. LET’S START A PETITION OR SOMETHING.
