Treyarch has rather kindly asked Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 players to go easy on the influx of new players to the Call of Duty community this Christmas. Here’s the developers advice for both veteran players and new players to the immensely popular franchise.
“Let’s talk Christmas Noobs.”
“It’s that time of the year again where thousands of new players join the online ranks for the first time. We’d ask you to go easy on the Christmas Noobs, but we know you won’t.”
“If you are a Christmas Noob yourself, don’t be bullied. In the Combat Training category you’ll find a great playlist called Boot Camp. This is the best place for a player to get up to speed on the game and all it has to offer.”

I would complain about the game here, but it has been more enjoyable since they patched up some things.
The game is a perfect port on wiiu. The framerate is 60FPS during multiplayer and Zombies like on all other platforms. But is a bit loose on campaign , bit still seems to be 45-60fps for most of the campaign…
I haven’t been big on CoD since CoD 4 Modern warfare on 360 , it was that time I went off the series. I bought it on Wiiu to test the ”Screen each local multiplayer” and the game is worth owning for that feature alone. That feature is INSANE local fun. It puts a smile on who ever may come round to your house’s face.
I waltzed online and anihilated the entire wiiu community of CoD gamers lol. I can first by far in about 8 different matches… funny shit.

The games themselves aren’t bad, it’s just that they’re online gaming population consists of little more than Noobs, trolls, children, and elitist jackasses. -Released annually (maybe they’d fix the lag and the spawning system and use a new engine)

All it is, is a shooting fest, the one who somehow survives it or camps wins. That is not skill. Geez, never thought I’d see Nintendo fans defending the CoD community.
A fix to that is to try to shoe horn all the people within a certain range of level on different severs… At peak time when the most people are online have one server for levels 1-10, next for 11-20 and so on… I know the frustration of being level 1 and having a level 50+ Mohawk Night Elf with every perk in the book to kill you by shooting near your feet, forget even hitting you.

Nothing will ever over shine the keyboard/mouse combo on a FPS, except maybe the Novint Falcon + Keyboard in a FPS.
The next best thing is the wiimote+… although it is EXTREMELY hard to pick up and learn… The controller is a no brainer but incredibly slow to aim, but easy just to pick up and play. But to master FPS on the wiimote+ is a real test of skill.
That’s nice.
But i’ll be spending Christmas playing a good game.

Don’t regret it at all. The wiiu is a breathe of fresh air. Between me my friends and my brother , 160 hours have been played on my wiiu since November 29th… The launch games are all great aswell. Every game I have is awesome.
Well i still want my ps3 for all the games coming next year, so not like im selling anything.

I ended up just walking to the store picking up the Wii U system last week, BLOPS 2, AC3, Scribble (my wife), Trine2 and Zombiu and then rented NSMBU from Gamefly…. being an adult has its perks lol

Hey core gamer, as much as using the Wiimote+ shows how big of balls you have and how godly your “skill” is. It still has nothing on mouse and keyboard.
Other than that, you are correct. Using a regular controller (i’m looking at you 360 and ps3 players) takes absolutely no skill whatsoever, in fact my grandmother is pretty good with a ps3 controller…. real men use the wiimote or mouse/keyboard on FPS.

Guns just don’t jump up and start killing people at random… it takes a person to operate it. It takes a human to comprehend the decision to take anothers life. Guns have nothing to do with it… Let me guess, you are from the UK and you believe your government looks out for your wellbeing, so you have no problem letting your government treat you like a subject instead of a citizen.

As with most CoD gamea, the story isn’t really the selling point, although, BO2 has the best story by far. Nothing amazing, but I did find myself eager to see the ending.
I will be nice, ill teach what each weapon feels like:)
