A family were left devastated after finding pornographic images on a secondhand Nintendo 3DS bought from GameStop for Christmas. 5-year-old Braydon Giles was shocked to see the images on the Nintendo 3DS which was brought for him by Santa. I’ve only parted with a few systems but I always format the HD. Gamestop SHOULD do the same. If nothing else it helps protect the privacy of the previous owner, especially if it contains credit card info for eShop purchases. I agree with people saying they take it way too far like if someone was murdered. In science, I think seeing random porn on the 3ds this way isn’t a big deal as much as seeing someone getting slightly punch in the face if the child was freaked out.
It’s just like that sometimes because of the bigotry believe about sexuality lot’s of people seem to have in the US in my view I think.

uh… why give a 5- year old a 3ds in the first place? an internet browser in the device means he’ll see it anyway. no, he wont look up porn, but even an innocent search, (mlp, spongebob, etc.) will give you a porn result. (rule 34) plus, the 3d has already given people seizures, and migranes. plus, try to be calm, parents. cry later. if you really care about your kids, you wouldn’t scar them more! derp! the kid will either look back on this and laugh, or forget. also, a 5- year old cant read, so only mario, until they get stuck on level 1-4 and rage quit. this is all assuming this was real. probably just faked by the douche who hates video games… also, check the specs before you buy, and, i have seen kids in kindergarten molesting eachother at private schools, so… he would see it later, anyway. I agree that this was wrong. But I also agree that by crying over it, his parents made it much, much worse. True, Gamestop should have deleted the pictures, and they are slightly at fault, but even if they did re-format the system memory, that wouldn’t delete anything on the SD card, therefore in the end it is the parents fault for not doing a thorough check of the system, if not for obsene images, then to ensure every thing worked correctly.
Nothing emotional about this video, Gamestop might not have checked the 3DS but nor did the Dad! Shouldn’t have made a scene about it, just deleted them and moved on with their lives!
