Enterbrain has revealed via Famitsu that the Nintendo 3DS has sold an incredible 10 million units after just 98 weeks of the system being on sale in Japan. The console shifted a colossal amount when Animal Crossing: New Leaf was released on the Nintendo 3DS on November 8th.
and when Pokemon X and Y come out….
And Animal Crossing outside of Japan. And Luigi’s Mansion 2. And Monster Hunter 4.
Really, there’s no reason why 3DS would stop to sell extremely well everywhere.
And the games that havent been anounced.

Now imagine how crazy it will sell once Monster Hunter 4, Dragon Quest VII, Super Smash Bros. 3DS, Pokemon X and Y, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, and whatever portable Zelda game is on the way. It will also probably sell well in the west once we get Fire Emblem: Awakening, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, and Pokemon X and Y. The 3DS might just beat out the DS as the best selling piece of hardware ever.
