Christian Svensson, Capcom’s corporate Officer and Senior Vice-President, has announced via the Capcom Unity forums that the company’s Nintendo 3DS titles will soon be available to purchase on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Svensson told forum goers that further details will follow when they are closer to release. Will you be picking up Capcom games on the Nintendo 3DS eShop?

“Many of our our other previously released 3DS titles will be coming to the eShop in the coming months. Details to follow when we’re closer to release.”

“But as discussed, for the most part we’re looking at what’s coming next, not what’s come previously.”

  1. So that mean’s on the eShop we’ll be getting Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and Resident Evil: Revelations and in the future we’ll have Ace Attorney 5, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Monster Hunter 4.

    1. Those bastards have still not said whether they are localizing the Lost planet Spin off – E.X troopers. It looks the same as the ps3 game albeit with a low res and in 3D. One of the best looking 3DS games and it’s a shooter , for that reason alone i want it…

      1. Maybe cause Nintendo has alowed certain retail games to come dl only maybe capcom got more incentive to bring it after all the just need to port it and put it on the shop.

        1. They already confirmed a long time ago that they aren’t bringing it to the west. Something about the costs of translating all the text.

  2. I guess were being forced to download the games instead of getting the physical copy, but atleast It’s better than nothing….

  3. depends on what games are being released. If it’s the X collection then yes, I’ll get acquire the games; if it’s a game that I already have then no.

  4. Megaman battle network! please do it! i dont want to use my ds lite, i love the backwards compatibilty of it, but my L and R buttons don’t work so it’s hard for me to play them
