XSEED has announced that it’s decided to publish the well-received Japanese action RPG Pandora’s Tower in America. Nintendo originally published the game in both Japan and Europe, but they decided against publishing it in the United States. Pandora’s Tower is scheduled to launch in America sometime in the spring.

If the Wii can play gamecube games without going a seprate application (same goes for the 3DS why can’t the Wii U do the same thing?
3ds does go to a diffrent aplication to play ds games.

Well you can boot a DS game up from the menu of the wiiu but it goes into DS mode whilst playing. You can’t multitask like you can with 3DS games when playing DS games on a 3DS for example using the browser.
This and you need to set WiFi ds game separate from 3ds .
I have no problem with the 3DS not being able to suspend a game while playing a DS game. My main problem is that all of your Wii ware games have to be in a different application. I had no problem with the 3DS because all of your DS transfered data will be in the 3DS menu. I would’ve just prefered everything (all downloads) to be in one centeral hub. I hope you understand.

Calm down. This is just how I feel about the Wii mode. I’ll just be waiting for that Wii U homebrew so that I can play Wii games on the gampad and for more indie games.

What’s the problem? You used to play wii games in the original menu before. At least you have bc instead of them not having it at all like the ps3
I don’t have a problem. The Wii’s menu is boring especially compared to the Wii U’s menu. From what I’ve seen, the Wara Wara plaza is very entertaining and I would like to manage both my Wii data and Wii U downloads in one place. I thought that was one of the many reasons how Nintendo was advertising the Wii U.
P.S I don’t own a PS3 so I don’t care…

I agree that it’s dumb, especially when you want to manage your data. You have to check the Wii U settings AND the Wii Mode’s settings.
I think the reason Nintendo did this was because people might get confused as to why you can’t use the Wii U’s home button (where it shows the browser, TVii, Miiverse, etc.) when playing a Wii game. Stuff like that.

Originally, I also felt this way, as this one looked most appealing to me…however, since putting in 55 hours on Xenoblade, I think my unknowing subconscious would have been pissed at me in a paradoxical universe had I never got to play that game, because it is freaking awesome! I haven’t yet gotten to play Last Story except the 10 minutes I popped it in when I got it, because I can’t do two intensive RPG’s at the same time, or I should say I won’t, because I like to focus on one at a time.
Does that mean Operation Rainfall is a Success?

I’m from Europe, but I’m really happy that you guys will get to enjoy this great game. Support publishers like XSEED. Get the game, even if you already ordered a European copy. Heck, look at it as an investment – a sealed Pandora’s Tower copy will be worth a small fortune in a few years.

I have this game and is ok, but not nearly as good as Xenoblade or The Last Story. Not really worth getting excited about to be honest, but this does mean a full victory for Project Rainfall, which is a good thing.
And I was JUST listening to the new episode of RFN where they called Pandora’s Tower a lost cause. XD
