FrozenByte, the developers behind Trine 2, have apologised to the fans for not getting the forthcoming patch out on time. The patch was originally promised to be released mid-December and then early January, but neither of those happened. The developers say that were stuck in the submission process, but they say that next week seems promising.
“We have been stuck in the submission process and are now once again waiting for approval, although next week is looking promising. Sorry for all the trouble.”
What does this patch do?
Yeah, I finished the game with no issues. Probably nothing major.
This patch is substantial. It adds voice chat pro controller support and visual improvements.
Really? That’s awesome about the pro controller support… couldn’t figure out why they wouldn’t make that a control option. I see why now. And voice chat support will make playing online actually work. Communication between players is crucial in this game. Do you know what kinds of visual improvements are coming?

Ninja Gaiden 3 , Blops 2 , Tekken , Mass effect 3 , ZombiU multiplayer , Fifa 13 , Sonic racing (i think) , and some others I can’t remember.

The only patch i want right now is for BOps II, i have lost many care package because of their weird bouncing, also i have lost 4 AGRs because they exploded as soon as they hit the ground.

Man, with an excuse like that, Nintendo should hire you to their PR team. Since most of the excuses they give for failing are usually about as lame as yours.

It’s been confirmed by Iwata but honestly I’ve used a Wii U for extended periods of length and I haven’t had issue with the OS. It’s not FAST, but I’d hardly call it slow. Have some patience, honestly…

It depends its fun side scroller on the ps3 the wiiu version is terrible. Do not the wiiu version unless you don’t care about quality graphics and having to restart the game every five minutes due to freezing.

GTFO and get a life. Trine 2 destroys the ps3 and 360 version , it’s the same as the PC version but 720p but has full AA , Realistic water physics added and much more. And sinse I updated my wiiu it has not crashed once on me at all.
Wiiu is not weak nor is it meant to be compared to PC’s. It’s unique can stream games to the tablet controller and compared to 360 and ps3 is much more efficient and powerfull. The GPU in wiiu destroys the ps3 and 360 GPU , It has about 4 times as much edram as a 360 , 2GB of RAM , and a CPU that uses half the electricity a 360’s does but can do the same and probably much more when coded for properly.
Sorry you can’t accept that and feel the need to use launch ports as graphical benchmarks.

Assassins creed 3 , Ninja gaiden 3 , Blops 2 , Darksiders 2 , Mass effect 3 , Batman arkhum city , Aliens colonial marines , NFSMW , ZombiU , and others.
Not exactly kiddy games. And shuddering framerates ? NSMBU , NIntendo land , Nano assault , Tekken , Ninja gaiden , Blops 2 (in multiplayer) , all run at 60FPS and there is others 2. I can’t think of any games that have framerate issues apart from Batman and Warriors orochi. Batman is actually really smooth aswell but drops in a couple of spots , no big deal.

The wiiu is better than last gen consoles. I can play off screen whilst watching TV. You can’t even do that with a vita and a ps3 combined because no games support the feature.
All the games you mentioned, besides ZombiU are sub-par ports of games that were released on other platforms months ago.
ZombiU was nothing but an overhyped load of garbage.
Sup par ports ? No… Blops2 is the same as 360 version but with V-sync and no screen tearing with off screen play and dual screen multiplayer , sub par ? no.
Assassins creed 3 is 720p native , it’s sub HD on ps3 , and wiiu has off screen play and map.
Tekken tag 2 has some awesome costumes and features like tekken ball and off screen play again.
I could keep going. The games Ive played on my wiiu destroy ps3 and 360 on the basis of having unique Gamepad features. So troll harder.
The Wii U versions do not “destroy” the PS3/Xbox 360 versions by ant means. In fact many of the games you listed have framerate and graphical issues. Some of the games may have Wii U exclusive features, but a majority of those feature are nothing more than are gimmicks that add nothing meaningful to the gameplay.

And if the wiiu was so good why isn’t Konami supporting it at all. Why where is bio shock and deaf space? Even ubi soft isn’t supporting it properly when they refuse to release far cry becausetI wiiu can’t handle it or because nintendo idiots wouldn’t buy such an awesome game

This must clearly bring the patch for the OS aswell. Big update will include Miiverse for 3ds, Connectivity to each consoles, voice chat built into game pad on most future online games. This is what I reckon!
