Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon Features Some Sort Of Internet Support

Luigi's_mansion_dark_moon_booIn addition to featuring a local multiplayer mode, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon supports Download Play and some sort of Internet support, according to Japanese video game magazine Famitsu. The Internet support may be referring to online multiplayer; however, Nintendo hasn’t yet confirmed whether the action-adventure game will feature that particular mode. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon launches exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS on March 24th in North America.

  1. Im still surprised a game like this has multiplayer. Maybe it will be like Nintendo Land’s game because I cant think of any other way that multiplayer can work with this type of game. Hopefully it is online multiplayer if its like that.

    1. maybe it’s co-op? like someone can jump into your game as mario? idk, i think they’d probably have specific levels for that. but if they added drop in drop out co-op, and gave both player there own camera that would be insane. now that i think about it, they should do that for the next 3d mario lol

  2. I’ll be very disappointed if multiplayer is limited to local – I have no local 3DS friends.

    Having said that, I didn’t expect any multiplayer/online components – so I guess it’s a bonus.

      1. To keep the game fresh and have more replay value. Just having the game by itself without anything is fun, but it will eventually get boring. Having it being updated over time and having some form of DLC would make it last longer. For most Single Player games I have played, I have beaten them and moved on to other games. I hardly go back to a game I have beaten.

  3. It probably interfaces with the sesame street website and some sick man hoy love association if Nintendo wants to serve the interests of their customers.

            1. Nobody finds you funny. NOBODY. Go and be funny in real life , instead of making yourself look like a retard on the internet. You deserve to be burnt with a hot poker….

  4. I thought they’d already confirmed that new mansions would be available for DLC in future? Or maybe I’m mixing that information with the confirmation of 3 mansions playable in game, I’m not sure.

  5. I don’t think I was meant to be a gamer in this day & age. Every time I hear any news about internet ANYTHING, I roll my eyes and feel frustrated. I think I’d be better off just sticking to retro games (on the REAL consoles they was made for, not the stupid eShop).
