  1. 3D HD Mario, never thought i’ll see the day! Cmon E3 y u must be in june? Nintendo is gonna dominate E3 im sure of it

  2. oh god. just hearing that they’re showing the new mario, zelda, smash bros, bayonetta, and yoshi game at e3 has me excited.

    1. Of course. SM 3D Land is such a Nintendo fail.

Although we have to understand that this particular title has come to a handheld system, in which games are supposed to be simple and straight-forward.

      1. It’s not so much that it’s a fail. 3D Land was a great game. But we’ve had enough of these “run through a level and get the flag” games lately. With 2 NSMB games and SM3DL, it’s time for a follow-up in the main line. I’m really hoping it’s more like Galaxy than 3D Land, though I’m hoping for back to Mushroom Kingdom.

      2. Obviously you haven’t played it very far… The game is amazing once you get passed the first 5 worlds… It opens up and dumps char, all over your face…. You should give it another shot

    2. Yes and No. Honestly, i want it along the lines on 64 and sunshine. Another galaxy title would seem slightly boring. although stunning in HD, kinda unnessisary. I just wanna run through the mushroom kingdom with as much freedom as the console titles. yeah, i want another 64. Sue me. haha :P

        1. Yeah, exactly. But in terms of engine, No, we’ve seen to much of the whole galaxy stuff. time for something new :)

          1. Do you know what engine means, when referred to gaming? It isn’t the same thing as assets.

They could reuse the same galaxy engine but with all the assets of Sunshine and you wouldn’t even know it was related to galaxy. Engine is what happens behind the scenes… How high Mario jumps, how fast does he fall, etc

  3. Does anyone else want another double dash, or even just a remake of double dash, or hey, even a Port of double dash? Or is it just me?

    1. it would be better if they just put gamecube in virtual console for wii u. but yes your right, would like super smash melee for wii u virtual though

  4. Awesome news. Not only is Nintendo now going to win E3, but I bet at least one of these games is gonna be on shelves and selling Wii U consoles by the end of 2013. Good news all round.

  5. The Nintendo Reviewer

Ah 3D Mario games. Gotta love those. Especially a Wii U 3D Mario game in HD. And a Wii U Mario Kart. E3 is looking very good this year =).

  6. Reaction: well dah.
It’s a given that they’re going to develop a Mario Kart for every platform they make, and it was about time another 3D Mario was made; the last one was Super Mario Galaxy and that was a loooooong time ago (No, SMG2 was a glorified expension and 3D Land…let’s not talk about that).
But well, when two titles such as these are announced and I am only mildly excited (compared to the others that were announced), it definitely should be a good sign.

  7. I hope the next 3D Mario is not limited as Mario 3D Land… I liked 3D Land but not if it’s a direction of 3D Mario.

But yeah, I hope the next 3D Mario would feel like a new 3D original adventure like how Galaxy was at first. If not much, then I hope you can go to space in this one since recent Mario games didn’t have a lot of space and it’s more rare when it comes to all Mario titles sort of. D:
