Nintendo of America has just released a batch of overly cute screenshots for Pikmin 3 which is exclusive for Wii U. We already found out today that you can use the Wii U GamePad as a camera in Pikmin 3 to capture close-up photos of your climactic encounters – and share them in Miiverse.

They have done something to the rendering engine. This looks really great!

There’s a difference between being able to appreciate graphics and art style in a game, and only liking a game if the graphics/art style is realistic/”good”.
If these screens were taken during actual gameplay, I’m even more stoked!!!
They were its a new feature for you to take pictures from your captains viewpoint to go on miiverse
They could merely be “bullshot” examples of the new mode.

In a couple years they will look dated and bland. The ps3 already displays better graphics on almost all games. If you want to see great graphical improvements wait for the ps4.

Duh the wiiu is on par with the ps3 graphics there is nothing special about this unless you compare it to the wiis graphics.

If you can’t tell that the Pikmin graphics you see here are sharper then any graphics found on the 7th gen, you need glasses, thick ones.

If I already owned a Wii U, I’d be complaining about Pikmin 3 not already being released. But in a way I’m glad it’s not. I can save my money a while longer, and by the time I finally DO get a Wii U, there will be better games, and also those problems with the slow OS (or whatever it’s called) might all be fixed by then.
