Nintendo has released the demo version of Brain Age: Concentration Training, known as Demon Training in Japan, in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS. The demo is free to download and requires 391 blocks. The full version of the puzzle video game, which features ‘devilishly difficult’ brain-training exercises that are supposed to help players improve their concentration skills, will be released at retailers and in the Nintendo eShop on February 10th in North America.

Attention: This News is really old.
I mean, this Demo came out in Japan in July, last year.
And now since it’s mis-advertised by a big site, we smaller sites need to explain everything, way to go, MyNintendoNews!

I think they mean it is now out for NA 3DS now.
I was a little surprised that the whole Oni part was kept in the western version since its kind of of big cultural difference and some things from Japan can get messed up from localizing every little thing for a western audience -_- Like I thought Pokemon and YuGiOh where sooo innocent growing up, then I see the original version with all the deaths and onigiri in tact lol.
But, yeah, I’m surprised woth the whole oni thing left in it. :p

Oh, right, because the minute Nintendo pulls out the big guns, suddenly every other game that was decent before are now considered crap. I see how you all work now.
This game was known as demon training, wasn’t it? I was confused as to why the game is now called concentration training. I guess America’s puritanistic censorship is doing its magic again.
Thats cause he is actualy not a demon but an ogre from japanese lore.
It would probably sell a lot less if it was named Demon Training. Religious people would try to boycott it or something. Or they would buy it and then realize the guy turns into a devil and then proceed to give it one star reviews on Amazon for that reason alone. It could still happen. It’s not like Nintendo edited out the guy’s devilish transformation. I enjoyed the demo and it should be a good game.
Of course! Localization! :P and yeah, he’s made to look like an oni (demon) because of how these excercises are harder than the other two titles apparently. I’m kinda surprised they kept him looking like that is the western version. Especially when Pokemon episodes where edited to call riceballs donuts and nobody was allowed to talk about dying in YuGiOh… ahhh, childhood memories…
