    1. I agree any idiot cam see Nintendo consoles are a rip off. Nintendo pretends the wiiu is a console whenit really is a baby toy or ssomething to keep perma virgins from killing themselves

      1. how could they ruin the new dmc game, at this point al the consoles kinda suck, end of life always sucks, and begining of life, always sucks, ive just bean playing older games lately,

      1. Indeed. 9M PS3’s and 12M Wii’s in a country that has what , 100M population ? The Handhelds sell ridiculously though. DS – 30M , PSP -20M roughly . Like half of the people in Japan have a handheld console lol and the 3DS is already on 10M+ and The Vita 1M +

  1. Wii U will only get worse in japan for the next few months. there’s only 2 or 3 games coming out total in japan for february, march and april

    1. Exactly. People who are buying it now are just people who want it ready or just never got it for Xmas. Not going sell as brill until after March so god knows why this site does this part of the news as if we are expecting a huge rise.

  2. And yet it still sold better than shitbox and ps3 at the same period.
People like to bitch quite alot, especially when it comes to Nintendo.
Atleast they have more intelligent games.

    1. Being a nintendo fan I feel ashamed of people like u …. Y do you hate other consoles ?? I mean u have the right to attack other consoles fanboys not the console themselves …. I believe u get what I am trying to say and I hope u change ur way of thinking

  3. Well crap!!! Wii U needs to take full advantage of it’s one year head start and it seems to be doing the opposite right now. It barely is doing good. All Sony and Microsoft have to do is create the next big thing like Wii and Nintendo will be in serious trouble…….besides the 3DS of course.

    1. If you ask me it looks to be doing good, but that might just be me. It is a new console, do you expect it to be flying of shelves?

  4. Nintendo has had a really good time with Wii hardware sales.
It’s the software part that needs to be improved on Wii U which wasn’t as good as it could have been on the Wii.

But considering the revelations at the latest ND and Iwata saying they will reveal even more titles later this year, I’d say they are doing things better with the software part now…although the launch could have been a bit bettee…

  5. It needs to come out elsewhere already! I think with City Folk America actually got it first, so what the heck is taking so long? Really hoping we get the AC 3DS XL system. Been waiting to upgrade until it comes out.
