Nintendo has released a trailer for LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins in which gameplay footage is shown. Not to be confused with LEGO City Undercover, the game is exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS and is set two years prior to the action of the Wii U game, according to Nintendo. LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins launches April 21st in North America.

Well, I’m definitely getting the Wii U version but this one has a low frame-rate even in the trailer! Plus, the way that we haven’t even heard of it until two months before release spells shovel ware!
Are you underestimating the Lego franchise?
It is a clear move from TT and NIntendo to boost the sells of Wii U’s version. Lauching a “episode 1” game on a large installed base and give gamers the sweet taste of Lego City franchise is very smart. I’m getting both, by the way.
They announced it at E3, together with the Wii U-version 2 years ago!
