Here’s The European Fire Emblem Awakening Box-Art

fire_emblem_awakening_euro_box_art

Nintendo Europe has revealed the Fire Emblem: Awakening box-art ahead of the game’s release on April 19th. In the game, players will command and fight alongside an army of spirited heroes standing against an enemy with the power to destroy empires. Plan your attack, customise your forces, and guide your heroes as you forge alliances that strengthen your resolve in battle and shape the course of history. A demo will be available from Nintendo eShop in early April.

Thanks, Patrick

    1. Who’s Kellam? Is he a DLC character or something?

He’s definitely not in my game, that’s for sure…

  1. Between the US/Canada boxart and the European, the European one just doesn’t feel right with the extra space to the left :I

  2. I like the American and Japanese ones better. The possition of Marth and Chrom passing each other works better than this one more “face-to-face”. Also, I don’t like that much blank-space. Of course, this is only my opinion.

  3. Wonder if you guys will actually get boxed copies for that box art. Here in North America the game’s been “out” for two weeks and Nintendo still hasn’t restocked empty shelves.

  4. I love the fact that they made a casual mode for players who didn’t like seeing their beloved team members die forever.
If they make that an optional mode for all future Fire Emblem games, then it might become my first preferred Tactics RPG.
Now if only they could do something about the battle speed……

  5. Poor Kellam. Almost completely blotted out by that logo. At least his body was showing in the NTSC covers. Really fitting though. Also, strange that they put “Marth” in the background. Europe usually does a great job on covers, but this one leaves a bit to much negative space.

Not that any of that matters. Enjoy, PALbros!

  6. Aw man, I feel bad for Europe :(
Why change the box art at all? I don’t understand what the point of that is. In my opinion the European version looks bad. I’m in the U.S. and it looks identical to the Japanese version except for the language.
Also! On the spine of the box on the European version, the title is written in some generic font. The U.S. version “Fire Emblem Awakening” is written in the same font as it is on the cover.
    Poor Europe :(

  7. I’ve been wanting to get this for awhile, but Nintendo didn’t send that much to my area and so it won’t be resupplied for about a week or two… And I’ve been checking since launch day.

  8. if nintendo keeps bringing these games over, they wont be in any trouble, just need to do this with wii u and then there will be plenty of games to own a wii u, maybe nintendo is learning there lessen
