Today, Ubisoft announces the launch of The Infamy, the first episode in the three-part Assassin’s Creed III – The Tyranny of King Washington downloadable content series, on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Windows PCs. This episode will be available for PlayStation 3 starting tomorrow, February 20. The Tyranny of King Washington will arrive on the Wii U eShop on February 21st.
In the first episode of the Tyranny of King Washington series, our hero, Ratonhnhaké:ton, awakens from an unsettling dream to find that, despite his efforts to deliver justice in the newly-founded United States of America, a new king has been crowned – George Washington. The Infamy will take gamers through the beginning of the journey to dethrone King Washington.

As much as I loathe Ubisoft right this moment, AC3 to me was a great game. This coming from someone that despises assassins creed games. Assassins creed brotherhood was meh! Especially since it mocked Christ’s cruxifiction.

the game is massive ,technically impressive , and has probably one of the best combat systems in any game but is glitchy and dissaponting to series followers. If you’ve never played AC before , you will like this game 8/10 .

Played it as my first AC game and loved it. I’m currently playing brotherhood on the 360 now because I loved it so much but atm it’s just meh compared to AC3, mainly because of the horrible combat system in that one.. Also getting used to 360 controller :3
I’m a first time player of the series with AC3 on Wii U. The game is so slow and tedious at first. It walks you through certain aspects of the game like you’re a baby, but then with other aspects you just have to figure it out on your own. That’s pretty frustrating. However, once you get into the game, it’s a good experience and a lot of fun.
I have it and love it I have an xbox too but I think the wii u controller is better for ac3. that’s just what I think

The dlc comes out last because nintendo updates their eShop last in the week.

Have this game for PS3, last mission as Connor literally ruined the entire game for me as well as other strains of bullshit scattered throughout the game. Complete bullshit. If you want to play an AC game, play 2 or Brotherhood. The rest are mediocre.
Assasin’s Creed 3 is certainly not a “complete bullshit” game as was mentioned before. Quite the contrary I’d say.

Games are to PLAY, not OBSERVE
I’m, playing AC3 on the Wii U for the first time last night, plus it’s the first time I tried an AC game but I wanna ask a question. Does anyone have any issues with the sound in the game? Like I can hear the music just fine and the background characters but I can’t hear the main character’s voice, or when he’s talking to someone for some reason. I tried adjusting the sound in the games options but nothing, I even tried messing around with my tv’s sound options but nothing. I put the volume real high but you can only hear like whispering. Is this a glitch in the game or is this only my disc that’s messed up? Any help appreciated and thanks.
I am having trouble with sound to …no voices at all… Only on the controller. I have background noise but no sound on the TV of voices in the game…any suggestions? Please help! Thanks
I asked here and the suggestions were try adjusting the sound options from surround to stereo on the Wii U settings. I tried that and it’s working fine for me so far on the tv. Not sure about the Gamepad but it should work.
