This weeks Media Create sales figures are now in and they show that Nintendo has once again dominated the software charts with the entire top ten game on Nintendo formats. Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden is the best-selling software title followed by Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Wii U hardware sales continue to decline as the format has only sold 10,744 units, which is just above PSP sales figures. Here’s the Japanese software and hardware charts.

yeah, but remember that the PSP is a great handheld to have (still today), and have a good library of games, the Vita is a great handheld too, but the price and lack of good games for that system are eating that beast alive, that’s is why the 3DS is dominating the market right now, because almost every developer are doing great games for that handheld.

How do you know sales of Wii U is declining? Where are you comparing Wii-U’s sell figures from? A year ago Wii U wasn’t on sale yet. So where did you get 12,000 figure and comparing it to 10,000?
I think this little domination thing that the 3DS is doing will carry the weight of the Wii U until the plethora of great games comes a floodin’ out in the second quarter of 2013… Still need some more games for the Wii U in the meantime and those are coming via the eShop and MH3HD for both consoles. We will see more Wii U units move and that will mean more devs quit moaning about the console and continue there developments for it and the others, so that their games will sell well across all platforms. Exclusives aren’t the only thing that sells on consoles, games that sell on all consoles, sell well usually for their unique experience which you get on any given platform… be it in the online capabilities of the chosen platform or the different modes available only on one platform vs. another. Just enjoy the damn games, this goes especially for you BILL… Wake up you blind, vagrant TROLL!! These are games and as such it is crazy to be so superbly blind in your hatred of a toy! You simply cannot blame a company because they want to ensure the quality of the games and consoles. Don’t worry… Nintendo will return with new releases for the Wii U. Lego City: Undercover, Capcom’s Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and EA/Criterion’s Need for Speed: Most Wanted U will launch next month.

All these delays made the Wii U launch window about as bad as the 3DS.
So clearly they repeated the same thing over again…
But if they can repeat the 3DS success without lowering the price untill atleast the holiday season of this year then it will be successfull.
