The company website is displaying the Call of Duty logo on their careers page, leaving many to speculate that they are in charge of the next Call of Duty game. CoD is a good game but when they’re releasing every year, it just got boring, its the same every year w/ diff. story, same assets, same engine, same guns. Lets see, this game will not even reach MW5. I mean look at Battlefield, players can enjoy their game for at most 2-3 years and maps are HUGE. while cod you can enjoy it for only 10-12 months. You’ll have to pull the trigger again to reach commander. Its a fast paced game but CS:GO defeats it everywhere. CoD is famous because of its corporate value. And it will definitely come down the hill in no time as it did when it came up.

There are games like Far Cry 3 and BioShock Infinite that are easily 100 times ore complex than just saving Peach over and over again you know. Not hating on Mario, because I love the Galaxy games and I also enjoy the new Mario game on the Wii U, but still.

Since you brought this up, I’ll give you the answer. Nintendo doesn’t include a level editor in Mario because unlike Media Molecule they can design actually good 2D levels. LBP’s main game is a borefest and the vast majority of user levels are crap, one in a million is worth playing. I’d rather go through the awesomeness that is NSMBU again than have to plow through endless oceans of crappy user-made content.
I have a PS3 and enjoy many Sony exclusives, but LBP is one of my least favorites, even though 2D sidescroller is one of my favorite genres. There’s just no need for it with Mario, Donkey Kong, Kirby and Rayman doing it properly.

What I am saying is that far Cry 3 is VERY complex. You get to explore a full island and even go underground and collect treasures. You craft weapons, you use skill points for different stuff, you take drugs, etc.. it’s a huge, awesome game.
I’ve not played it yet to be honest! But a lot of games are complex in their own way! I understand Mario games are simple point A to Point B , jump on a few heads. But the level design of Mario galaxy games are some of the most complex ever!

Galaxy 2 was just an extension of Galaxy 1 , and in many ways was a lot better. BUT it didn’t have the same wow factor galaxy 1 had , as that came first.

Neversoft SHOULD develop Modern Warfare 4. The last game that I had played by that developer was Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 on the Dreamcast. “Bring Tha Noise” was one of best soundtracks in that game.

I wish people spent the money on GOOD games that actually deserve money than over used shooter franchises. I can bet Crysis 3 is going to sell more than Metal Gear Rising, despite Crysis 3 being mediocre as usual while Rising is completely insane and fun.
True , I’m not interested in Crysis 3 one bit. I would be interested I suppose if I had an awesomely speced PC just to see how it looks at max settings… then i would just trade it in after about 3 days.
Metal gear Rising is awesome. Just goes to show how good Platinum games really are. I love slashing cars , trees and benches an shit up XD
I beat Crysis 3 today on my PC. I thought it was better than Crysis 2. The graphics are really good. Brings any computer to its knees.
I wouldn’t dream of buying it on PS3 or 360. I would only buy it on PC where it can live up to what it is meant to do which demonstrate world class graphics.
That’s what I thought too. I wasn’t happy when Crysis 2 made its way to consoles. The PC version was not using certain PC technologies. This time Crysis 3 ONLY supports DX11 and has high resolution textures built in. The multiplayer is also better this time.
But 360 best console yeah?
Yeah. I mean its not a bad game, its probably just about average but thats about it.
There’s few FPS games i actually like and those are Bioshock and Killzone, i think the gameplay in those games is perfect and they have a good story to go with them.
But yeah Rising is alot of fun xD

There is a load of good games in the first person View point. I think what we’re all sick of is monotonous Military shooters , Halo 4 kinda falls into that category even though it seemed great at first.

It’s Halo….so no.
You can toggle sprint, but you cant dual wield, and its back to the recharging health. Everything else is the same.

Nope , no change in gameplay at all really , few minor tweaks here and there , and there is a new vehicle called the Mantis which is arguably the best vehicle in the entire series.
Shit, forgot about Borderlands 2. I wont go into the whole Metroid FPS arguement again, i think its a FPS with heavy platforming, just an unconventional FPS.
Halo 4 is fine, its just polished, but seeing as they havent done anything new with the series since 3, pretty expected.
Indeed , we can’t slam the FPS genre as a whole cus that would have to include games like Portal , Metroid , Half-life , Far cry , etc.
It’s basically just CoD that’s tarnished the Genre’s image and the way most devs think about approaching a new game in the genre.
It’s all just iron sights this , duck and sprint that…
ZombiU is a fantastic example… It’s in the first person point of view, but it definitely isn’t a shooter….
If you treat it like call of duty, you are dead….. The game is intense. I’m on my 3rd play through, and its still pretty intense.
I would welcome a ZombiU sequel, but don’t care for most FPS

They need to evolve the series. I’m tired of the same techniques and features.
If they totally reinvented the franchise, yet at the same time continue the Black Ops series, they’ll hit it with both the hardcore CoD fan base and any other person who thinks CoD is just the same thing over and over again.
Base it off the Black Ops 1 engine and go from there. I really hate the MWx/BO2 engine.
I enjoy COD because it lets me pass time with friends all over the world and you’ll need a shovel to scrape your face up off the sidewalk once you see my 1216. As long as it’s Call of Duty World at War II I’ll be okay, I’m damn sick of these Black Ops titles and Modern Warfare titles, and I want Call of Duty to go back to WWII. Finest Hour is what got me started on the Call of Duty franchise, now, I’m just disappointed at what the whole franchise has become, it’s a complete joke.

I’ll never understand why so many people are obsessed with war? Makes no sense to me. War is a terrible thing, yet people love playing a war game? Real war vetrans are probably too traumatized to even LOOK at these games. Because they know what REAL war is like.
I remember when I was buying the NES game P.O.W. (Prisoners Of War) at Play N’ Trade years ago. and a customer that was there started talking about how he was a REAL prisonor of war. He acted like he hated the game because of it.

Tony Hawk’s games died because the other games were NOT made by Neversoft, same with Guitar Hero, they were both raped by different companies.
Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground was the Last good Tony Hawk game.
Guitar Hero III was the last good Guitar Hero game.
Both of which were made by Neversoft so maybe they can change Call of Duty for the better… maybe..
