US gaming publication Game Informer is set to reveal a new game on the cover of its next issue tomorrow. The magazine has clarified that it’s not going to be Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag which was meant to be announced today, but was leaked late last week. What game would you like to see announced by the publication?

And since people asked, we announce the next cover tomorrow morning, and it’s a next gen game I’m personally thrilled to get to reveal.

      1. I wonder how good the PS4 will sell at launch. It would be cool if it comes out before the next Xbox.

        1. Purple People Eater

Uncharted on the Wiiu is gonna be great, I wonder if they will release the trilogy first when Sony goes software only.

      2. whatever… keep trying son, every time you comment something here… I just feel sorry for you, because you look more and more retarded than before, sorry, but you just make me laugh so HARD at you, you little hating baby hahaha!, your hating level exceeds stupidity no doubt about it.

      1. Yes it is really doubtful. Like… a lot. Nintendo needs to reveal the next Metroid game and that would top anything for me.

    1. Thats already reveiled. This game will be something absolutely brand new that no one’s heard of yet. At least thats what the article says…

    1. I wish we had a new Zelda game, too. But Nintendo is still finishing Wind Waker remake. Once they accomplish it, they will start the new Zelda game.

By the way, a new Star Fox would be a dream.

        1. Sure, I think I did not use the most proper wording above. Of course they have already started working on it, but they will concentrate on the new Zelda game once Wind Waker reaches the shelves.

        2. No another companies handling wind waker while Nintendo looking over at them from time to time, Nintendo’s in full affect on Zelda at the moment I feel they’ll be a 30 sec trailer at e3 this year and then a full reveal at e3 2014 and then will release in 2015, (opinion)

      1. the teams working on WW remake and WiiU Zelda are different. Next Zelda will propably come by the end of 2014. The EAD Zelda Team is working on WiiU Zelda since 2011, and they stated that it wont be a slow process as SS was. I’m sure we’ll get a teaser at this year’s E3 ;)

      2. I havent finished skyward yet so i can hold off a bit. It would be great if they brought back star fox on wii u with an online battle mode. A game like that would sell because there really isnt much to play on wii u at this time.

        1. It has never been confirmed that Retro is working on a Star Fox game, for all we know they could be working on a Wii U Sport game.

  1. Wish: Shenmue wii u, or any other new, amazing wii u game.

Think: Some boring 3DS game. Kirby 3DS I would guess.

      1. It will be Sonic Thunderstorm, the fourth installment of the Sonic Unleashed series. The new hedgehog character. i tweeted Sega. I will be on the Xbox 360 and the PS4 and the Wii U and PS3

    1. Technically the Wii U is current gen since it has already been released. I certainly understand why some of you call the Wii U next gen. I know the Wii U is awesome and it was certainly next gen last year. I just know that people who are not Nintendo fans consider next gen to be Sony/Microsoft and that is my guess on this one.

      1. Wrong, the Nintendo Wii U is still a Next-Gen console until the next Xbox “720” and PS4 enters in the market, then, the 8th generation of consoles will become “current” generation, making the 360 and PS3 and Wii, 7th gen or “older” gen.

        1. Well say I release a console in one year and then the next console from some other company comes out 2 or 3 years later. Determining a generation based on a group of consoles doesn’t really make much sense to me.

      2. So if Sony released there console last year wouldn’t it have to be current gen… Fuck logic

    1. Seems very plausible to bet on any kind of FPS nowadays. Most of times I feel that it’s the only stuff west industry can offer to gamers.

      1. yep. Developers are not ”creators” these days, not all of them. they just follow some trends, and invests their big budgets to make sure it will be a cool looking game. That’s why I don’t care about what is ”true nex gen” or whatever people call videogames now. I care only if i’m enjoying a new concept, a new gameplay experience, or at least something new inside a well know franchise.

        1. “Developers are not ”creators” these days, not all of them. they just follow some trends, and invests their big budgets to make sure it will be a cool looking game” = Crytek. They have maybe the most impressive engine ever created in years, but Crysis 3 is a joke. Where is the novelty nowadays?

          1. sure, all they do is for money, and only. they don’t want the industry to reach new levels, or grow, they just want new ways of getting money off people, like this ”social” thing on facebook just to generate free ads and ”online only” gameplay to make sure people is not playing piracy games. But on gameplay, their games didn’t brought anything new, fresh, they are just following the river’s stream

    1. Virus (thinkin' about changing name...)

I’d be surprised if Sonic could get anyone excited, but we’ll know tomorrow.
At least Sonic’s been getting better :)

      1. A new Sonic title will be ”Sonic Thunderstorm”. A new hedgehog character will be Mach the Hedgehog (Sonic’s future son). He will have Speed, Fighting styles and lightning powers. He will have a robot partner named Rover. He will team up with Sonic to defeat Dr. Eggman and his future son, Mach’s best friends are Knuckles’ future son named Slash and Rouge’s future daughter named Debra. Egg-X who is rescued him from the White Space. Orbot and Cubot will return with a new female shaped-robot, named Lovebot. Mach, Slash and Debra will stay in Sonic’s present.

        New voices to add:
Mach the Hedgehog – Johnny Yong Bosch
Rover (Mach’s robot partner) – Ben Diskin
Slash the Echinda – Cam Clarke
Jumbo (Slash’s robot partner) – Beau Billingslea
Debra the Bat – Kim Mai Guest
Catty – (Debra’s robot partner) – Derek Stephen Prince
        Egg-X – Steven Blum
        Lovebot – Philece Sampler

Sonic Thunderstorm will be released on November 2013. Its platforms are Wii U, 3DS, PS4.

      1. Remember before when they were like “OH GAIS WE HAVE BIG GAME REVEAL” and it was COD BO2 multiplayer? Yeah

  2. Virus (thinkin' about changing name...)

This guy’s thrilled, so worst case: he loooves FPSs and… it’s an FPS.
Best case: Its Metroid or a wierd crossover no one would expect.
Custom Robo X Mega Man could work, just sayin’…

  3. The greatest game magazine on earth already ceased publication (Nintendo Power), so why does GameInformer still exist?

    1. Because GameInformer is still the number 1 subbed gaming magazine in the world. That’s mainly because it’s owned by GameStop and the subscriptions come with GameStop membership.

      1. Meh. They won’t last. Neither will Gamestop.
I used to love GameInformer. But they started to feel just like EGM (Xbox and Playstation kiss-asses). And looking back at the many covers of GameInformer, they had an unbelievable amount of BORING covers based on BORING Xbox and Playstation games. I recently sold all of my issues of GameInformer because I no longer care about it.

  4. If it’s for Wii U, I hope it’s some kind of open world game.
The last thing we need is yet another side-scrolling platformer.

  5. Shenmue 2
    Borderlands 3
    Bully 2
    LA Noire 2
Red Dead R_________ (sequel to Read Dead Revolver and Redemption)
    I’m hoping for these ones

  6. I bet a million dollars on the next gen thief game, because they said somewhere that the game will involve a bow.
