New Images Of Future Nintendo Kyoto Headquarters

nintendo buildingEver wondered what the future Nintendo building will look like? Well, these pictures circulating the internet have given us a good idea regards to the shape and size of Nintendo’s future house, which was announced after the Wii U’s unveiling in 2011. The project is believed to cost around 16.5 billion yen, which is equivalent to $204 million US dollars, and is a much larger expansion compared to their current building.

The construction will house 1,500 workers, bringing together the portable consoles and engineering departments to create a unified division. The expected completion date for Nintendo’s new home is said to be the end of 2013.

      1. You should go kill yourself, first of all you’re black, and second of all you believe in god, you are so stupid, god doesn’t exist, dumbass.

  1. Sony selling building, Microsoft selling building, but Nintendo is building them… Nintendo is doomed…..

  2. What does the unification of their mobile and console department mean. Will their be an Nintendo gaming tablet in the future.

    1. i heard an article a while back that the handheld division and the console division with fuse together and become one. I also heard that with this collaboration they can make games for wii u and 3ds cross game or something like that.

      1. I heard it would help speed up game development but at the same time retaining quality due to each of the division’s own set of unique skills now correlating with one another.

    2. Easier for the 2 dev groups to interact with each other. They can go across the building to ask questions and work together, instead of having 2 different buildings. Nintendo said they were already brain storming their next sytems after Wii U and 3DS which is obvious. Nintendo said they want the next handheld and console to have similar architecture.

  3. Its kinda good nintendo is doing this. their current building is really outdated looking compared to modern gaming buildings.

      1. (Note to self next time copy the picture instead of the link.)
cant believe it did not work. it was suppose to be a troll-face of you “mad bro?” as Nintendo response.

  4. That top bit on the building should mural for miamonto when he leave, and maybe they’re next gen are gonna be a pc instead of console and a tablet hybrid handheld, I’m really looking forward to Nintendo next gen already

    1. Pitfall near your door

Only time will tell, hopefully they can redeem some money back when the games start to hit on the Wii U.

        1. Millions in the first week? How do you figure? The original Xenoblade sold only 0.16m in Japan lifetime.

  5. Good, our Empire is fortifying its defenses and evolving our technology…

Japan will be Nintendo only in a few years as Microsoft will be destroyed by our overwhelming legions against their barely militia groups who buys the Xboxes…

I even think that by building this new base for High Command, the Nintendo Real Life Land is even more plausable now…

  6. LMAO: I thought Nintendo was doomed? I thought they were broke? Yet they are having a $2 million dollar building built from the ground up? What happened haters? According to the haters, Nintendo has been broke since the N64 and yet they are still here. So when will Nintendo die? Anyone have an answer? PS. Nintendo has more than just games to unveil at the E3. The games are only the begining. Nitnendo is up to something, something big, mean, scary, powerful, earth shattering…something I don’t even know what it is yet…but I will find out or my name ain’t………jtz.

  7. So Nintnedo is doomed according to Wii U haters yet they are planned to higher AN ADDITIONAL 1,500 more workers. I thought when a business was going under, laying off was what would occur. But Wii Haters know every thang.
