Nintendo of America has confirmed to online gaming publication Joystiq that Game & Wario for the Wii U will retail for $39.99. We noticed a few days back that GameStop were selling the game for that price and it now appears to be the default price at online retailers. Game & Wario is due to be released in North America on June 23rd.
from what I’ve seen. 29.99 is a better price for it.

The mini games don’t look as deep and complex as nintendoland’s. I might still pick it up though.
Warioware games never were meant to be deep and complex.

Again using logic you will find that this isn’t weird as Nintendo need to push the sales of the Wii U so selling the game at a low price might help plus the fact that the game bombed in Japan.

I’ll be waiting until reviews and possibly a price drop before getting it. A friend of mine got to try it for a bit and he felt it was weak compared to previous Warioware games.
This is awesome news. I will definitely be downloading this one. I wondered if they were going to knock $10 off this one since it’s classified as minigames but they took off $20! Doesn’t matter to me, I would have paid $60. I think this is very smart though. This game will come right at the end of the drought right before all the First Party titles start rolling out and with a lower price, I think a lot of people will buy this. Games like this and Nintendo Land are just flat out amazing. Nintendo Land has become one of my favorite games of all time. It really doesn’t matter to me if it’s minigames. For some reason, whenever a game has minigames people think they are getting less value. People are very closed minded nowadays, though.
What I’m looking forward to the most from the Wii U is different games like this and N-Land. Both of these games are totally different than most games and are pushing genres. I think we will see a lot of new genres of games from Nintendo, probably even with their big franchises like Zelda and Mario. I’m kind of thinking that this next Zelda game is going to be veeeeery different. I think Nintendo is looking to redefine the adventure genre. With the Gamepad they have so many possibilities, and it’s in the most creative hands of today’s developers. Bottom line, I’m really excited for this generation of games :) It’s the wait that kills me, lol.
I just hope I enter a month long coma soon so E3 gets here sooner.
